by Michel Bauwens 09 Feb '14

09 Feb '14

Dear Sir, on the 9th of February in the morning, a belgian mobile phone with the above IP address entered my gmail account, deleted the whole inbox, and created a pop forward to a german hacker with the name of Eugene Leitl, (eugene(a)leitl.org) I have been able to restore the inbox with the help of Google Support, but not without serious damage that will cost countless hours of verification. According to http://whois.domaintools.com/85.28.120.211, the name behind the abusing account is Xavier Darche, Michel Bauwens -- *Please note an intrusion wiped out my inbox on February 8-9; I have no record of previous communication, proposals, etc ..* P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net <http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation>Updates: http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens #82 on the (En)Rich list: http://enrichlist.org/the-complete-list/

Dear Eugen, I'm assuming you are NOT involved in this, my gmail account was hacked, inbox wiped out this morning by a belgian mobile phone (85.28.120.211) in the pop forward setting, all my emails were diverted to your email account above, and I discovered you were member of this mailing list, If you can help with any explanation, that would be great, anyone wanting to harm us both ? Please pass them on to any of your contacts that may be interested in their mission and note several up coming Bay Area events: Greenhorns is a five year old grassroots organization that works to support new farmers in America. Our work is unconventional and various, we focus on event organizing, in person-networking, mixers, celebrations and workshops as well as the production of traditional and new media: radio, documentary film, blog, a book of essays, guidebooks, web-based tools. Our goal over the next generation is to retrofit the food system and to build a thriving agricultural economy, for healthy regions, healthy watersheds, and a healthy farm culture. We believe our movement can succeed with strong communication, solid business skills, sustainable farm practices and importantly, teamwork. I find it rather easy to portray a businessman. Being bland, rather cruel and incompetent comes naturally to me. - John Cleese Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake: One of her characters asks, "As a species we're doomed by hope, then?" By hope? Well, yes. Hope drives us to invent new fixes for old messes, which in turn create ever more dangerous messes. Hope elects the politician with the biggest empty promise; and as any stockbroker or lottery seller knows, most of us will take a slim hope over prudent and predictable frugality.
