Still far too few people have watched this. Black uses the metaphor of rotten trees. Everyone knows that a rotten tree has arrived at the final stage of its life. And there is a saying that a tree that falls makes more noise than a forest that grows. Fwd: Ask accountability and immediate resignation of rectors who order police violence to terrorize peaceful students

---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Dante-Gabryell Monson <dante.monson(a)gmail.com> Date: Sun, Nov 20, 2011 at 4:18 PM Subject: Ask accountability and immediate resignation of rectors who order police violence to terrorize peaceful students To: econowmix(a)googlegroups.com Open Letter to Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi Posted on November 19, 2011<http://bicyclebarricade.wordpress.com/2011/11/19/open-letter-to-chancellor-…> by crank <http://bicyclebarricade.wordpress.com/author/rostocker/> http://bicyclebarricade.wordpress.com/2011/11/19/open-letter-to-chancellor-… excerpts : "When you ordered police outfitted with riot helmets, brandishing batons and teargas guns to remove their tents today, those students sat down on the ground in a circle and linked arms to protect them." "The fact is: the administration of UC campuses systematically uses police brutality to terrorize students and faculty, to crush political dissent on our campuses, and to suppress free speech and peaceful assembly. Many people know this. Many more people are learning it very quickly. You are responsible for the police violence directed against students on the UC Davis quad on November 18, 2011. As I said, I am writing to hold you responsible and to demand your immediate resignation on these grounds." // "Several of these students were hospitalized. Others are seriously injured. One of them, forty-five minutes after being pepper-sprayed down his throat, was still coughing up blood. This is what happened. You are responsible for it. You are responsible for it because this is what happens when UC Chancellors order police onto our campuses to disperse peaceful protesters through the use of force: students get hurt. Faculty get hurt." -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens

UNGRIP Documentary - ConsciousSelfGovernance.ca
by Dante-Gabryell Monson 18 Nov '11

18 Nov '11

I recommend this documentary. ( 72 minutes ) ( Note : also available via torrent ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uliLfykURYo For more information: http://www.ConsciousSelfGovernance.ca www.facebook.com/UNGRIP To "Like" us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Conscious-Self-Governance/231543463546799 At a major juncture in his life, rob in the pagé family began down a road less traveled to free himself from fear, government control, and reliance on public energy and food supply, and shares his journey that led him "off the grid". The purpose of this film is not to provide legal advice, nor is it to simply educate, but rather as inspirational fuel. To become more of what we already are. // comment copied from Woodroffski : The title of this movie is UNGRIP. That is a key concept, it's talking primarily to our dependence on society. Someone that does not have the mental strength to become independent from society will use whatever logic fits best to discredit the video above, it does not matter if that logic is rational or not because their precedence has dependence as a higher priority than rational curiosity and justified behaviour. If someone argues with you, it is not worth hating them for it, live YOUR life Woodroffski <http://www.youtube.com/user/Woodroffski> 3 weeks ago
