"Doing Good" showcases the best solutions journalism from around the world. It’s a channel that highlights stories that put the world’s most complicated problems under a microscope with the goal of finding solutions. It focuses on what’s working, and how we can do better. Sounds great, right? Here are some of the articles our experts have recommended this week: Piqer Helen Morgan focuses on how inexpensive greenhouses are helping farmers in India adapt to climate change <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>: The social entrepreneurs behind the idea were trying to address the issue of growing numbers of farmer suicides, linked to problems with low crop yields due to drought. We read so much about the global opioid crisis, but rarely about solutions. Piqer Danielle Batist points to Portugal’s drug decriminalization program <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>, which has successfully reduced opioid use, as well as drug abuse of all kinds. Michaela Haas highlighted an article about carbon farming <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>, and more specifically how plants and agriculture can play a major role in significantly reducing C02 released into the atmosphere. Jodie Jackson found an article about a young entrepreneur who’s crowdfunded and built gigantic device to clean up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>(an island of plastic roughly the size of France floating in the Pacific Ocean). The device, called The Ocean Cleanup, will set sail this summer. Finally, we have an article from the Good News Network <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>recommended by Geri Weis-Corbley about a formerly homeless San Francisco writer who is trying to address growing inequality by teaching people from the poorest neighborhoods how to code <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>—some of whom have since landed six-figure jobs. If you like to read about great ideas, innovators and problem-solvers, this channel is for you! If you haven’t already, you can subscribe here <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…>. Most people will have heard of Cape Town's count down to "day zero"—the day that the city runs out of water. Leading up to this cataclysmic day, most media pundits (and even the local government) predicted utter chaos. The fact that water was running out in a city known for a history of extreme racial tension only made predictions more dire. However, when reporter Eve Fairbanks traveled to Cape Town to see how residents were managing the impending apocalypse, what she found was quite the contrary: People were coming together, across economic and even racial lines, to conserve water and try to find some sort of solution: Voluntary water usage plummeted, and it soon became a badge of honor to "show a visitor day-old urine ripening in your toilet." She describes residents of Cape Town's behavior as a "beautiful social experiment." It could be that human beings are just waiting for something that gives them a challenge, a chance to rise above their politics-exhausted cynicisms and prove they can be good neighbors, stand for more than just money and success, and find ingenious tricks, together, to outwit their new tormentors. It could be that certain kinds of disasters—particularly the natural, which feel more neutral and acceptable than politically driven ones—may wedge open spaces for change in other areas in which we feel stuck. This excellent piece about how Capetonians came together—and what their cooperation achieved—is definitely worth a read. <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: > Read this article on piqd.com] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: A Surprising Unintended Consequence Of Cape Town's Drought: Unity And Cooperation] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Source: Eve Fairbanks highline.huffingtonpost.com <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> The Unlikely Upside of Cape Town's Drought <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Read article <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: Piqd email border] [image: Hannes Sjob] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> piqer: <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Hannes Sjob <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> 7.5 <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Japanese Biohackers Make "Clean Meat" In A Lab <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Our meat consumption isn’t sustainable. But lab made meat has the potential to fundamentally transform the human food chain. This will have a planetary-wide impact, providing an eco-friendly and safe source of animal protein. And innovation is not just happening in universities and corporate research facilities: at-home biohackers are already making it happen. “His English is a little broken, but his instructions are so clear I pause to wonder, 'Well, why aren’t I growing a lab meat in my kitchen?'” The author is referring a conversation with Yuki Hanyu on the growing ‘clean meat’ community. Japan-based Hanyu, who holds a PhD in chemistry, is more than a mere enthusiast on the subject. With the Shojinmeat Project, he connects roughly 30 DIY citizen scientists across Japan — often schoolkids — who all grow artificial meat in their own homes. Apart from offering each other advice and exchanging experience, the group frequently post articles as well as pictures of their work, sharing both their insights and their enthusiasm with others. In the article, Hanyu describes the delicate process of making meat from cells in a fertilized egg — involving dry ice, centrifuge and an incubator in true Do It Yourself style. The Shojinmeat Project isn’t the only thing Hanyu is up to — in 2015 he funded the start-up company Integriculture, with the hopes of creating “a general purpose large-scale cell culture system”. With Integriculture Hanyu looks beyond meat, departing from similar companies by thinking in more general terms. Among other things, the company plans on using its cell-growing technology to create customized products for cosmetics and supplement companies. Further out, they want to create a clean-meat infrastructure that they could license out to other companies, reaching a broader market. “Until lab meat becomes more mainstream, however, Shojinmeat will be growing its own culture of DIY enthusiasts who create their own meat at home. Will you be among them?” <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: > Read this article on piqd.com] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: Japanese Biohackers Make "Clean Meat" In A Lab] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Source: Hannes Sjoblad thespoon.tech <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> 04/16/2018 Shojinmeat is Growing a DIY Clean Meat Community <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Read article <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: Piqd email border] [image: Mark Koyama] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> piqer: <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Mark Koyama <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> 7.5 <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Lecture: Immigration And Freedom <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> In the wake of the ongoing concern with immigration in the US and the Windrush scandal <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> in the UK, it is worth revisiting this lecture by LSE philosopher Chandran Kukathas. The lecture was given in 2017 at George Mason University, but it could not be more topical. Kukathas's theme is immigration and freedom. But while we often think of this in terms of a migrant's freedom to move, Kukathas points to the impact immigration control has on the prospective host country. Borders, Kukathas notes, are a political construct. The extent to which borders are enforced is always a matter of degree. Borders are not only about who can enter the country. They also control what they do when they are in that country, i.e. whether they can work, purchase property, or settle. Immigration control, therefore, does not stop at the border. For instance, enforcing immigration law requires policing non-immigrants who might wish to hire undocumented immigrants. And this policing requires the recreation of new and powerful bureaucracies. Kukathas's lecture points to the costs of attempting to rigorously enforce immigration law. To control immigration is to control people — and not just outsiders — but also citizens who might be required to provide identification or made liable for checking the status of those they hire. Thus, living in a society that tightly controls immigration means living in a society that’s very heavily controlled with respect to ourselves. It explains horizontal and vertical integration, the two ways that monopolies can form and take over a market segment, usually to the detriment of consumers in the long run. Given the current potential merger between AT&T and Time Warner, which a judge is set to rule on in June, these economic basics are important for everyone to get a grip on. While in this case the tech and communications giants promise that joining their corporations would make wireless networks faster and more reliable, the merger would also consolidate America’s wireless companies to just three, which is almost certain to bump prices for access to information and communication. Even Donald Trump suggested this wasn’t a good idea. “The question is whether one huge company plus another huge company, would turn into one enormous telecom and media company controlling so much content and the way it’s delivered to you that it could freeze out other producers and distributors who want to make you laugh, cry, and binge watch.” <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: > Read this article on piqd.com] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: Video On Media Monopolies: Should AT&T And Time Warner Merge?] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Source: Cecilia Kang nytimes.com <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> 05/01/2018 Would AT&T's Time Warner Deal Help or Hurt Consumers? Of the 219 nominees, only 20 were from Africa and none were selected. There are several factors behind this, including the fact that nominators themselves are based in localities that do not give them knowledge of the existence of African photographers. That is not a good excuse, though, as powerful organizations such as the World Press Photo (WPP) should be doing more to identify photographers in African countries given they do exist and stand most to benefit from networking and training opportunities. By choosing who gets to be recognised, selected for training by respected photographers and photo editors, and networked into powerful media houses, such organisations have the power to direct who pictures and narrates our world. What is most troubling about overlooking African photographers is that instead such initiatives "reward, once again, Europeans who fly into Africa to photograph locations with which they are not familiar, often through the same, unquestioned and stereotypical lens." As an African storyteller, I know only too well of the lens through which mainstream media still sees my continent. Born in Kenya and now living in Senegal, I rarely see images in global media that represent the African experience in its full diversity. It's easy to find pictures of slums, garbage heaps, conflict, but rarely of positive images in western media. I turn to Instagram for that. By leaving out photographers from African countries, and continuing to skew the selection process towards photographers who are from Europe and North America, the way the world pictures and imagines Africa and Africans will remain as they have historically been framed by the geopolitical west — as a location of a special brand of savagery and darkness to which those in the west have no parallel experiences or equivalent. <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: > Read this article on piqd.com] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: The Western Gaze In African Photography] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Source: M Neelika Jayawardane aljazeera.com <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> 04/26/2018 Who gets to picture and narrate Africa? <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> Read article <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> [image: Piqd email border] <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> piqd GmbH | Widenmayerstr. 38 | 80538 Munich Tel.: +49 (0) 8152 99 86 564 | Fax:+49 (0) 8152 9986571 | Email: contact(a)piqd.com Managing director: Marcus von Jordan | Seat and court of jurisdiction: Munich HRB 217337 Tax number: 143/134/81256 | VAT numer: DE 300221320 Imprint <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> | Privacy <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> This email was sent to michelsub2004(a)gmail.com *why did I get this?* <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/about?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&id=ff26…> unsubscribe from this list <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/unsubscribe?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&i…> update subscription preferences <https://piqd.us11.list-manage.com/profile?u=1c016007e32cb1600e4f02736&id=ff…> piqd GmbH · Widenmayerstr. 38 · Munich 80538 · Germany -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens

a request: I have to do this for my participation, on behalf of the P2P Foundation, in the Transition Design Symposium which take place at the end of June in Totnes, bringing together various movements to seek common ground and joint priorities. All suggestions are welcome: Influential Streams of Thought and Resources We’re asking each panelist to contribute to a list of resources on societal transitions and system-level change. These will be compiled in a separate section of the Symposium proceedings. 1) What are the 3 most influential books, papers, videos/films you have encountered in the past 5 years? (provide links if possible). -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens

Marrying Ostrom to Sen: insuring contributory equality (equipotentiality) through a 'commons of capabilities'
by Michel Bauwens 03 May '18

03 May '18

What is the role of the 'state' or public functions in a commons-centric society? I have argued for several years that one of the functions is to guarantee 'contributory equality', or equipotentiality, as the commons themselves are no guarantee for overall equality. French commoners are continuously innovating and fabricating concepts and practices that are very often way beyond the anglo-saxon world, which gets all the attention. Here is another example, from 'author unknown' (Tetris ?); a marriage between Ostrom and Sen, which gives us the 'commons of capabilities': https://tetrisrecherche.wordpress.com/2017/12/29/les-capteurs-de-communs-de… See also how Genevieve Fontaine adds 3 more criteria to the eight principles of Ostrom, in order to insure 'inclusionary' commons, Michel Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation

Fwd: Outlier Ventures Daily Brief - Issue #122
by Michel Bauwens 30 Apr '18

fyi: " Matthew Pirkowski has been exploring the link between morality and economic theory. Just like people approximately 200 years ago societies had to adapt to Capitalism by letting go of agrarian and mercantilist assumptions, today we might have to let go assumptions from the industrial era to make room for the economic potential of the Information Age. “Distributed Valerism” removes concerns about the centralized management of ownership and instead focuses on value representation, storage and transactions while including aspects of game theory and behavioural economics in novel ways. Blockchain can influence our current system because it allows us to capture and facilitate diverse sets of human values and human values by decreasing transactional friction and enforcing elements of game theory on massively scale. This is likely to increase over wealth creation, fair distribution and stabilize our political and financial systems. The concept of money even though taken for granted, tends to be ambiguous amongst humans due to it’s abstract nature. Fundamentally, the article questions the notion of whether Distributed Ledger Technologies alter the way humans perceive money and the concept of value representation. Another industry where incumbents have detected potential, deployed solutions and begun scaling. In its latest instance, British energy supplier Centrica has announced that they will launch a local energy market trial later this year. The firm has claimed that the trial will be the largest blockchain trial to date in Britain carried by one of the big energy providers. The trial run will see over 200 houses and independent businesses make energy-related transactions in a peer to peer format. The energy giant will be working with US Based startup LO3 energy which had earlier secured an undisclosed round of funding from Centrica’s innovation arm. The utility of a blockchain for settlement of energy-related transactions in peer to peer environments allows industry players to reduce cost overheads in grid management while scaling points of production. Another step to a more energy efficient future. <http://em.getrevue.co/mpss/c/HAE/1EoYAA/t.2h2/C4eBxAvySRy1w1IbtfX_2Q/h8/xU8…>2. The decentralised liquidity problem has been a major pain point since the introduction of some of the earliest decentralised cryptocurrency exchanges, such as EtherDelta. Today the issue persists, but with more and more attention being paid to the token economy, more problems have surfaced. To address these issues, many startups have set out to develop their own solutions, not just for liquidity, but also to address UX/UI, custodianship and other infrastructural issues in the space. Following up from part one <http://em.getrevue.co/mpss/c/HAE/1EoYAA/t.2h2/C4eBxAvySRy1w1IbtfX_2Q/h12/xU…>in his series, Shaquile Noor <http://em.getrevue.co/mpss/c/HAE/1EoYAA/t.2h2/C4eBxAvySRy1w1IbtfX_2Q/h13/xU…> runs over some of the key ways that problems within the decentralised exchange market are being addressed. The series has set out to demonstrate how more collaborative approaches towards innovation in the space could increase both the scale and rate of adoption in the token economy. <http://em.getrevue.co/mpss/c/HAE/1EoYAA/t.2h2/C4eBxAvySRy1w1IbtfX_2Q/h14/mv…>3. Fwd: Being of Use
by Michel Bauwens 29 Apr '18

29 Apr '18

---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: jaycousins <thatcousinsboy(a)gmail.com> Date: Sun, Apr 29, 2018 at 2:28 PM Subject: Being of Use To: michelsub2004(a)gmail.com Dear friends, I hope this finds you well. In light of last years post (Ruin and Rebirth), it seems like I'm destined to continuously cycle through a reinvention of self. So please forgive my vulnerability. *<<* = a reflection on this year. A caterpillar chewing on the leaves of the year long past, pooping out nutritious tidbits. *>* = A call for more opportunities on proven ground. Seeking to prolong the cocoon of security, while I work out what I wish to become. *<<* Last year it was my pleasure to work with a wonderful grass roots organisation in Sri Lanka. Yarl IT Hub <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470321-medium.com…>. Their growth and community impact - bringing IT, Open Source Tech, and Entrepreneurship to a Rural community recovering from over 2 decades of civil war is truly inspirational. I wrote up my impressions here for those of you who're interested. Any help amplifying their project is greatly appreciated, too often our attention is focused on what sucks, we need to hear more stories of people doing great things with love and care. This is one such story. Please read and share widely. <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470321-medium.com…> For those of you in the startup community, or responsible for building labs and ecosystems, I took a deep dive into Sri Lanka's Startup Ecosystem exploring what obstacles and opportunities lie in this space. <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470325-medium.com…> Many of the insights are a broader critique of existing challenges within the Startup culture, which prevent many innovations from taking place and create a very narrow band of "novel" ideas that make it to market. For those of you who wonder how we end up with shit like the Juiceroo - this may offer you some ideas to reflect upon. I got a bit carried away - it's a bit long. So here's a PDF <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470329-drive.goog…> for your ebook reader etc. Sri Lanka is in a high energy phase right now, and it's a great time to get involved. *>* This year I'm being pulled in many directions as usual, trying to navigate that narrow crossover point between money and meaning. I really enjoyed the work I did last year, and the feedback I've had from Yarl IT hub has been very favourable. So I'm looking for more work in the following areas: Collaborating with Local Community Builders to support both Leaders and General Community, helping them to grow and develop their skills in Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Personal Confidence. Working with Innovation Ecosystem Builders, to address critical blocks and obstacles in the path of innovations and Entrepreneurs. *If you know of any communities/companies/organisations that would benefit from my combination of creativity, entrepreneurial experience and systems thinking please let me know. * The above request relates to the ongoing challenge of personal security, which pulls me away from projects which I would prefer to focus on and engage in. This was one of the critical insights from my Sri Lankan research, perhaps most visible to me because it was and remains a concern I have myself. We are pulled in two directions. On one hand the need to provide security for those we love, and on the other drawn to explore opportunities to meet our collective needs. (this is compounded by the sheer volume and scale of ideas and opportunities from Personal Cooling Systems <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470333-www.instag…> at one end of scale to how to enable Universal Basic Service <http://mail01.tinyletterapp.com/jaycousins/being-of-use/11470337-blog.p2pfo…> through distributed currency at the other). An idea that sticks with me is to somehow align the needs of security and opportunity. That the 2 forces should be aligned, that Entrepreneurs and Inventors have the security to explore. But the Opportunities they explore should create greater security for all. I want to be secure, I want to be free to explore opportunities to Improve our collective quality of life. I want to increase our chances of thriving. So as well as the above propositions of how I can be of Value. I'd like to open up the question to those of you who each contain another perspective or point of view of me. I have numerous ideas of what I could offer (eg. a patreon account where I share ideas freely and patrons vote on where I devote my time and energy) but I can only ever see myself through my own lens, my Potential Usefulness exists in the space between myself and the world. Value is created at the point a need is met, and it would be foolish to anticipate your needs, especially when seeking to meet my own. So I humbly request your feedback. *How can I be of Value or Service to you or someone you know?* Thanks in advance. A model of female empowerment, Lynn Margulis fought the male establishment and, through her persistence, triumphed. As a young scientist in the 1960s, Margulis was ridiculed when she articulated a theory that symbiosis was a key driver of evolution. Instead of the mechanistic view that life evolved solely through random genetic mutations and competition, she presented a symbiotic narrative in which bacteria joined together to create the complex cells that formed animals, plants, and all other organisms. The idea that all of life is deeply interconnected and collaborative has radical implications for how we look at and understand our selves, our species, our relationships, our kin, sex, death, resilience, adaptability, regenerativity, ecology, evolution, our changing environment and our climate. *Global Premiere Screenings:* There have been three other *Symbiotic Earth* Global Premiere screenings: *Oxford University* Large Lecture Theatre, Sherrington Building Sherrington, Oxford 0X1 3PT United Kingdom Presented by Voices from Oxford Sponsors: Chelsea Green Publishing and Dan Sackett Post screening discussion with filmmaker John Feldman and physiologist and evolution scientist Denis Noble, author of The Music of Life. *Natural Science Museum of Barcelona* Carrer de Leonardo da Vinci, 4-6 08019 Barcelona, Spain (with Spanish subtitles) Presented by Ricardo Guerrero, microbiologist, academic director of the Academia Europaea-Barcelona Knowledge Hub Post screening Question and Answer session with filmmaker John Feldman *David Brower Center* 2150 Allston Way Berkeley, CA 94704 USA Presented by Bioneers and the David Brower Center Post screening discussion with filmmaker John Feldman and author and systems theorist Fritjof Capra. -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens
