Fwd: possible post on lulzsec

important background to this morning's very important blog posting: http://blog.p2pfoundation.net/the-first-social-cyberwar-as-the-class-warfar… ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Amaia Arcos <amaia.arcos(a)googlemail.com> Date: Tue, Jun 21, 2011 at 11:59 PM Subject: possible post?? To: Michel Bauwens <michelsub2004(a)gmail.com> Lulzsec and Anonymous have joined forces and pledged to attack those who attack internet freedom, ie govs, etc. They have also invited any colour hat hacker to join forces. They are also widely circulating this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgj0ge6Iwu0 I have no idea if the guy is genuine but he sounds convincing and the video is being taken seriously, the motivation it generates is what matters, no? He does talk about horizontal bottom up as well. Let me know, I could post the statement by Lulzsec (yesterday), the arrest of some Lulzsec kid in England (today) and add this video as something these hackers are watching. Lulzsec has almost 1/4 of a million followers on Twitter https://twitter.com/LulzSec *Salutations Lulz Lizards,** * *As we're aware, the government and whitehat security terrorists across the world continue to dominate and control our Internet ocean. Sitting pretty on cargo bays full of corrupt booty, they think it's acceptable to condition and enslave all vessels in sight. Our Lulz Lizard battle fleet is now declaring immediate and unremitting war on the freedom-snatching moderators of 2011.** * *Welcome to Operation Anti-Security (#AntiSec) - we encourage any vessel, large or small, to open fire on any government or agency that crosses their path. We fully endorse the flaunting of the word "AntiSec" on any government website defacement or physical graffiti art. We encourage you to spread the word of AntiSec far and wide, for it will be remembered. To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.** * *Whether you're sailing with us or against us, whether you hold past grudges or a burning desire to sink our lone ship, we invite you to join the rebellion. Together we can defend ourselves so that our privacy is not overrun by profiteering gluttons. Your hat can be white, gray or black, your skin and race are not important. If you're aware of the corruption, expose it now, in the name of Anti-Security.** * *Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments. If they try to censor our progress, we will obliterate the censor with cannonfire anointed with lizard blood.* ** *It's now or never. Come aboard, we're expecting you...** * *History begins today.* ** *Lulz Security,* *http://LulzSecurity.com/* -- “We would think and live better and be closer to our purpose as humans if we moved continuously on foot across the surface of the earth” Bruce Chatwin -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens

Fwd: Let bloom the thousand flowers of Free Banking .

---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Klaus Falke <Klaus.Falke(a)absatzring.com> Date: Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 4:32 AM Subject: Let bloom the thousand flowers of Free Banking . To: FreeBanking <Support(a)monetary-freedom.net> ** Dear friend of Freedom, and we are one of those flowers. *It is very important to learn about your expert opinion!* Two weeks ago, I have sent you the email "*Free Banking in our times?"*where I had invited you to cooperate as co-author on the *Free Banking Handbook* or to support the authors in any other way. I have not yet, however, heard from you, therefore I ask you to participate in *this little survey*. It would be very helpful to learn your opinion. Many thanks in advance for your support. ** *That’s the way to do it*: After you have clicked on "*Return*", go to the lower section of the screen and if you agree with the statement in a line, fill the right field of the table with "*X*". You can tick several statements with "*X*". Only when you have ticked all relevant statements with "*X*", please click on "*Send*". Many thanks! Sincerely, Klaus Falke www.Monetary-Freedom.net *No.* *Do you agree with this satement?* *True=X* *1* Currently, I do not have the time to support actively the team for writing the Free Banking Handbook. *2* With my limited energy, I am generally not in the position to support the Free Banking Project actively. *3* I have not received your Free Banking email. *4* I have received your previous Free Banking email, but I have not read it. *5* Free Banking is surely a very important element of freedom. *6* There are other and more important things to do than writing a Free Banking compendium. *7* It is more important to pursue public relation efforts about Free Banking. *8* Please contact me at a later point of time to join the project. Currently I have very little time to spare. *9* I only would like to be informed about the project progress. *10* *You may list me on your website only as proponent of your initiative. * *11* It would be better if the handbook author would be remunerated. *12* I am only interested in the final version of your Free Banking Handbook. *13* I would like to have a project description to hand it to my students or friends. *14* At last, Free Banking just means to use gold and silver as money. *15* It is not necessary to write a handbook for Free Banking. *16* I am generally not interested in Free Banking or Monetary Freedom. *17* Please, do not invite me again. *18* *I agree to disclose the result of this survey to John Zube and the other team members.* -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens
