Dear all, I'm a postdoc in media and communications law at the Swinburne Institute for Social Research (www.sisr.net) in Melbourne, Australia, and finishing up my PhD on 'corporate dominance of the Internet' at the European University Institute (www.eui.eu) in Florence, Italy. I would describe my general area of research as (critical) law and (communications) technology studies, and have written about how areas of the law (including but not limited to intellectual property) have encountered peer production and free software. I've just started a new project at Swinburne looking at this encounter with 3D printing technologies. Like Mathieu said, I am interested in involvement in the piracy/law issue of JoPP in the pipeline and also to bring (more of) a legal perspective to the JoPP editorial board. Thanks, Angela On 22 June 2013 20:00, <jopp-public-request(a)lists.ourproject.org> wrote: > Send JoPP-Public mailing list submissions to > jopp-public(a)lists.ourproject.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jopp-public > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > jopp-public-request(a)lists.ourproject.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > jopp-public-owner(a)lists.ourproject.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of JoPP-Public digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. Dear All Vincenzo and myself are completing the publishing procedure of Issue 3. We can benefit if someone can help us with the copy-editing. Because all the authors are English native speakers, the work needed is only a reference check and reference style work. If somebody can help, please contact us: maurizio(a)maurizioteli.eu & vincenzo.dandrea(a)unitn.it Best M.

Special issue proposal: Fablabs
by Mathieu ONeil 12 Jun '13

12 Jun '13

Hi All I was recently approached by Peter Troxler who is deeply involved in the Fablab movement. He heads the International Fab Lab Association and is in charge of organising a Fab Lab research stream at the next, 9th annual Fab Lab Workshop and Symposium in late August 2013 in Yokohama, Japan. Peter suggested doing a special issue of JoPP on fab labs. This fit in well with our schedule as the pirate issue is not fully formed and the organisation issue still a distant dream. So after value/currency in Dec13/Jan14 we should have a fablab issue in June/July 14. As doing an issue is a lot of work Johan suggested Peter collaborate with another editor, and Peter accepted. This is good news for us as FL are a dynamic area and this should generate as much or more interest as the bio/hardware issue. More on this soon. cheers Mathieu

I don't think you need to do a restore. [image: Inline image 1]The code on the site says it's looking for jquery-1.7.min.js?ver=3.5.1 which is a newer version than what you cited. You've got a few options: 1. Find the older version of jQuery and download it to your js folder. I'm not sure if jQuery archives older versions although I'd be surprised if it doesn't for legacy reasons. 2. Find the current version of jQuery which is on your server because I just looked at it and simply rename it to the one you originally cited. 3. Update each HTML page to reference the new jQuery file instead of the old one. cheers steve --* Dr Steve Collins* Senior Lecturer in Multimedia Program Director / BA-Media / Media, Culture and Communication Department of Media, Music, Communication & Cultural Studies Macquarie University P: (02) 9850 2165 W: http://www.mmccs.mq.edu.au/stevecollins L: Y3A 191D On Fri, Mar 29, 2013 at 10:01 PM, <jopp-public-request(a)lists.ourproject.org>wrote: > Send JoPP-Public mailing list submissions to > jopp-public(a)lists.ourproject.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jopp-public > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > jopp-public-request(a)lists.ourproject.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > jopp-public-owner(a)lists.ourproject.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of JoPP-Public digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
