It is a worlding exercise that seeks to reclaim knowledges, languages and sounds about the border beyond geopolitical boundaries and apparatuses of exclusion and control framed by the state. Initially based in Paignton, Devon, the project moved online after being dispersed by the UK asylum system, gathering briefly in London, visiting the radical social centre and archive, Infoshop 56A. Their primary tool for inquiry is the creation of “sound objects” around border words: one minute recordings that encode deeper meanings, tensions, rituals, situations, that are later untangled in a collective listening session that dismantles and talks about the border in its own terms. *Learn more about this interesting exploration here**.* <https://dvqhzz.fg35.fdske.com/ec/gAAAAABlzy2uWNuhChiznqacmI4WVM8aL1DrBrqL4H…> Ecoversities Pollination Learning Exchanges & Residencies *The Ecoversities Alliance supports residencies* <https://dvqhzz.fg35.fdske.com/ec/gAAAAABlzy2uEvREpD96T7MRT0S-Uk1jA2blUwh0_3…> between ecoversities around the world, as learning journeys for pollinating and exchanging cosmovisions, dreamings, practices that empower local communities. *The Ecoversities Residencies 2024 Program is now open!* <https://dvqhzz.fg35.fdske.com/ec/gAAAAABlzy2u0BpZc6MohHkKDFwTAONE56nr_iwQgZ…> [image: Image item] <https://dvqhzz.fg35.fdske.com/ec/gAAAAABlzy2upcDM3IbetmDkhTSWL5bOytYlGi-MV4…> *“It is beautiful to see how this Alliance, this movement that creates this Ecoverse, has a force of its own. I'm reaching out to you with an urgent plea for support during these challenging times. Gaza strep still grappling with the war, leading to a dire humanitarian crisis. My family and I have been deeply affected, facing considerable challenges of the conflict. In these trying circumstances, I've launched a crowdfunding campaign to seek assistance and provide relief for my family. I have an opportunity to participate in a writer’s residency in Ireland, However, the border guards demand exorbitant fees at the crossing to Egypt, posing a significant obstacle. While it is disheartening that a price is placed on human lives, it remains our only chance to escape this desperate situation. I kindly request your support in spreading the word about our GoFundMe campaign. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in helping us rebuild our lives and secure a better future for my family.
