Dear all,
I'm excited to announce two fully funded PhD positions in the critical
humanities
and social sciences.
The positions are part of *POESIS: Power, Knowledge, and Servitude at Sea,* a
new research group funded by the University of Bonn's Cluster of Excellence
and the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies (BCDSS), and based
at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS).
The two PhD researchers will join me, together with Anna-Katharina
Hornidge, in Bonn to help shape this project, while working across two core
themes:
- Extractive Dependencies -

- Submerged Dependencies -

I would be very grateful if you could help these calls along their most
rhizomatic journey possible!
Warmest,
