¿Queremos una nueva Musix 4.0? Solución (propuesta)
by Marcos G. 10 Feb '17

10 Feb '17

¡Hola! -- Marcos Guglielmetti ▲ :::::::::::::::::: M U S I X ::::::::::::::::::::: ▼ www.musixdistro.wordpress.com www.bosquedealimentos.org ((*J*)) ▼ "The beginning of the mistake is from growing meat for the king and wine for the church." dieselgate & software privativo
by Gerardo Diaz 03 Dec '16

[26] [27] [28] Original: The *Volkswagen emissions scandal* (also known as "*emissionsgate*" or " *dieselgate*") erupted on 18 September 2015, when the United States Environmental Protection Agency <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Environmental_Protection_Agency> (EPA) issued a notice of violation of the Clean Air Act <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clean_Air_Act_(United_States)> to German automaker Volkswagen Group <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Group> after it was found that Volkswagen had intentionally programmed turbocharged direct injection <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbocharged_direct_injection> (TDI) diesel engines <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_engine> to activate certain emissions <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhaust_gas> controls only during laboratory emissions testing <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emissions_testing>. The programming caused the vehicles' NOx <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NOx>output to meet US standards during regulatory testing but emit up to 40 times more NOx in real-world driving.[13] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-npr-co…> Volkswagen deployed this programming in about eleven million cars worldwide, and 500,000 in the United States, during model years <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_year> 2009 through 2015.[14] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-14> [15] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-15> [16] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-Spiege…> [17] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-Ewing2…> The findings stemmed from a study on emissions discrepancies between European and US models of vehicles commissioned in 2014 by the International Council on Clean Transportation <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Council_on_Clean_Transportation> (ICCT), summing up the data from three different sources on 15 vehicles. Among the research groups was a group of five scientists at West Virginia University <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Virginia_University>, who detected additional emissions during live road tests on two out of three diesel cars. ICCT also purchased data from two other sources. The new road testing data and the purchased data were generated using Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS) <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Emissions_Measurement_System_(PEMS)> invented by an EPA engineer in 1995. The findings were provided to the California Air Resources Board <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Air_Resources_Board> (CARB) in May 2014.[18] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-icct-18> [19] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-WVU_st…> [20] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-bigelo…> Volkswagen became the target of regulatory investigations in multiple countries,[21] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-21> and Volkswagen's stock price fell in value by a third in the days immediately after the news. Volkswagen Group CEO Martin Winterkorn <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Winterkorn> resigned, and the head of brand development Heinz-Jakob Neusser, Audi research and development head Ulrich Hackenberg, and Porsche research and development head Wolfgang Hatz were suspended. Volkswagen announced plans to spend US$7.3 billion (later raised to €16.2 billion, US$18.32 billion[22] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-wsj.co…>) on rectifying the emissions issues, and planned to refit the affected vehicles as part of a recall campaign. The scandal raised awareness over the higher levels of pollution being emitted by all vehicles built by a wide range of car makers, which under real world driving conditions are prone to exceed legal emission limits. A study conducted by ICCT and ADAC <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADAC> showed the biggest deviations from Volvo, Renault, Jeep, Hyundai, Citroën and Fiat, [23] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-adac20…> [24] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-indepe…> [25] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-thegua…> and the diesel market declined. A discussion was sparked that software-controlled machinery will generally be prone to cheating, and a way out would be to make the software source code accessible to the public.[26] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-26> [27] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-27> [28] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal#cite_note-28> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal -- Gerardo Díaz email: gerardo.diaz(a)gmail.com blog: http://QueHacemosConLasPilas.WordPress.com

And it will work in any machine, I mean, machines with non standard file hierarchy. The /dev directory is laid down by the FSSTND, by Unix tradition and is also part of earlier standards too - so if you don't have /dev in the right place you aren't LSB compliant. Bill Gates: "The private sector is in general inept."

tomá, Macri... https://www.indy100.com/article/bill-gates-says-that-capitalism-cannot-save… b1xNpbL8O_x "The world’s richest man, Bill Gates, has said that the private sector is too selfish and inefficient to produce effective energy alternatives to fossil fuels. While announcing his plan to spend $2 billion of his own wealth on green energy during an interview with The Atlantic, the Microsoft founder called on fellow billionaires to help make the US fossil- free by 2050 with similar philanthropy. He said: There’s no fortune to be made. Even if you have a new energy source that costs the same as today’s and emits no CO2, it will be uncertain compared with what’s tried-and-true and already operating at unbelievable scale and has gotten through all the regulatory problems. Without a substantial carbon tax, there’s no incentive for innovators or plant buyers to switch. Since World War II, US-government R&D has defined the state of the art in almost every area. The private sector is in general inept. The climate problem has to be solved in the rich countries. China and the US and Europe have to solve CO2 emissions, and when they do, hopefully they’ll make it cheap enough for everyone else. In recent years, China has surged ahead of the US and Europe in green investment, despite remaining the world’s most polluting country in terms of fossil fuels. Between 2000 and 2012, China’s solar energy output rose from 3 to 21,000 megawatts, rising 67 per cent between 2013 and 2014. In 2014 the country’s CO2 emissions decreased 1 per cent. Meanwhile, Germany’s greenhouse emissions are at the lowest point since 1990, and the UK has seen a decrease of 13.35 per cent in emissions over the last five years, according to official quarterly statistics from the Department of Energy & Climate Change." -- Marcos Guglielmetti ▲ :::::::::::::::::: M U S I X ::::::::::::::::::::: ▼ www.musixdistro.wordpress.com www.bosquedealimentos.org ((*J*)) ▼ "The beginning of the mistake is from growing meat for the king and wine for the church."
