[Solar-general] eventos en POA

Buenas,  les cuento que en Porto Alegre se hará una reunión pequeña de
trabajo que está organizando Tacticaltech (http://www.tacticaltech.org/)
junto con la gente de Debian-NP. 

Ese encuentro será el día 3 de junio y es de jornada completa. Dado que
es una reunión de trabajo y discusión de la cual se espera sacar
documentación y resultados, será un grupo pequeño de trabajo.  

Me gustaría que pudiera sumarse alguien en nombre de Solar, pero debería
ser alguien que pudiera y tenga ganas de ir a "laburar"  todo el día
allí.   (si tenemos alguna persona voluntaria para ir, necesito los
datos antes de ir a POA para pasarlos a la gente de tacticaltech, ya que
se está trabajando mucho en la previa de la reunión también). 

Disculpen que mande info en inglés (esto sigue siendo borrador todavía),
no tengo idea de cuaĺes serán las condiciones de trabajo en la reunión.
Participan varias personas de América Latina, así que supongo que se
trabajará en español también, algunas personas de tacticaltech hablan
español pero no muy bien, así que no se si se hará en inglés o español o
habrá interpretación.   La documentación producida en esta jornada será
en ambos idiomas (creo).

Free and Open Source Solutions meeting in Porto Alegre
Draft AGENDA

09:00 - 13:00 MORNING SESSION

- Introduction to the goals and agenda of the meeting, choosing the
people for taking notes, etc.;
- Background presentation about the situation in Latin America focused
on the FOSS/Civil Society issues [[[Note: We are looking for 1-2
candidates to make a short/accurate presentation - internal/external
perspectives latest issues, events, facts, policies, etc.]]];
- Brainstorm the list of expectations from the meeting combined with
self introduction (name, organization
represented, expectations from the meeting), than a discussion of all
participants, narrowing the goals of the meeting;
- Expanded Introduction to the *-Source events and mapping projects from
Tactical Technology Collective;
- Other introductions...

11:00 - 11:20 BREAK

- Project Mapping - Discuss and agree what type of projects will we map.
List and discuss for example 'Free and Open Source Software projects
related to the Civil Society' in general, tools, materials, training,
localization. Describe the projects: leaders, audience, scope, content,
form, goals, timeliness, etc. Create and discuss the map, people and
relationship.

13:00 - 14:00 LUNCH

14:00 - 18:00 AFTERNOON SESSION

Brainstorm of needs assessment of FOSS for/and Civil Society (list of
all possible, narrowing process (grouping them into issues then deleting
duplicates, etc.) Grouping according to the: Type of the need, Target
group, Solution / Who and how if applicable. Discuss what needs are the
most urgent;

16:00 - 16:20 BREAK

Coalition building for the meeting in 2005:
- Discussion: Is it necessary/practical/helpful to do the meeting?
- Brainstorm some of the below: goals, stakeholders, partners, outcomes,
name, place, costs, working language, steps to make, promotion, possible
donors, ways to advertise, how to sustain work of this group - agreement
on tools, time line, responsibilities, etc.

- Evaluation of the meeting

EVENING:
Celebration of the effort - group picture and fiesta ;)
