Re: [M-Colab] behringer ugc 102 / something to test

Hello Sean, ¿Could you try this in your system? There are two attached files: 021_behringer_ucg102.rules should be copied /etc/udev/udev.d and behringer_ucg102 should be copied to /usr/local/bin Then, make it executable chmod +x /usr/local/bin/behringer_ucg102 Gilberto Borges made this, so, when you plug the behringer_ucg102 cable to your PC, it must run the script Could you test it? | | Gracias. | | Gilberto. | | | Abra sua conta no Yahoo! Jack problem is solved: First, the UCG102 digital conversion is only 16 bits. Secondly, it only samples at 3 rates - 32kHz, 44.1kHz and 48kHz. So I set Jackctl to 16 bit and 44.1. Still no success. I then abandoned Jackctl and went to jackd at the command line, and set the Frames/Period to 1024, and it crashed. Finlally, I increased Frames/Period to 2048 and jackd was running. With jackd stable from the command line, I started Jackcontrol, and jack remained stable. Next, it was time to test some applications. Both Ecamegapedal and Jackrack connected to jackd, applied effect treatments to my guitar, and produced sound through the headphones and recorded tracks to audacity. The short story is the Behringer UCG102 works with Jack, but may require some tweaking. -=cybersean=- ----- Original Message ---- From: Sean Edwards <cybersean3000(a)yahoo.com> To: Musix GNU+Linux users list <musix-users(a)lists.ourproject.org> Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2007 1:25:57 PM Subject: Re: [Musix-users] BEHRINGER UCG102 I tried many combinations, but I will try again later tonight and post my results. -=cybersean=- ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
