Creamware Tripleboard II
by Justin Fun 28 Jul '07

28 Jul '07

Hi, I know it's pretty much obsolete, but is there any way of getting my old (ISA) creamware tripleboard II sound card to work in musix/linux? I'd rather not fork out for another multi i/o card if I can help it, but it's not recognised and I can't find a linux driver.

USB, CD-Audio and DVD automounting on Musix GNU+Linux
by Marcos Guglielmetti 24 Jul '07

Hi! Good news! We now have a full featured automounter You must install it using sudo: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install dbus ivman-musix Then, re-start your Desktop. Musix will find any usb memory (pendrives, mp3 players...) and open a file browser automatically, also I will play audio CDs and video DVDs Cheers! -- `&' # Marcos Guglielmetti, co-director de # Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre para artistas _#_ http://www.musix.org.ar (#) / O \ + archivos: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix ( === ) Ecología: http://autosus.wordpress.com `---' Personal: http://marcospcmusica.wordpress.com Fry: "Ehh, profesor... ¿Qué va a enseñar éste semestre?" building problems, solved... I believe...
by Marcos Guglielmetti 21 Jul '07

Hi Could you try this script? see: http://www.musix.org.ar/en/download.html#Compiling_software * In order to compile software it is necessary to install development packages that were removed. Type in a terminal as root: restore-dev.sh In the case of trying to compile drivers, it is necessary to install kernel headers, this script will do it too. Save it on /usr/sbin/, then type "chmod +x /usr/sbin/restore-dev.sh", and then you must execute it as root user.
