Hydrogen Issues
by DCZX 14 Apr '06

14 Apr '06

Hello, Hydrogen frequently crashes. Also, selecting NEW does not open a new document. I have not had any problems with the more recent builds in other distro's. Thanks, musix is great. Can't Install to HD
by DCZX 14 Apr '06

14 Apr '06

When I type musix tohd=/dev/hda1, the "=" and "/" characters do not reproduce the right characters, they make some strange ANSI characters instead. Is this because I have an American keyboard? How can I install it? thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com

I installed to a 20gig hd with no problems. However, a lot of the apps appear only in Spanish and convert my keyboard to Spanish. Any workaround on this? Harry

by Marcos Guglielmetti Gmail 10 Apr '06

10 Apr '06

The hihat and ride sounds have no extra reverb. There is only one snare sample without extra reverb: snare-opaque-2mics_normal-shot1.flac (if you like it, I could make a new collection of dry samples) I will make a "more wet" (adding some extra reverb) collection in the future, and maybe with another EQ/compression settings: it could be useful when you are making a Soundfont (.sf2) patch and you need your MIDI music to sound as it was already mastered. By using the Hydrogen Drumkits, you can edit every single Instrument adding LADSPA plugins, so, maybe it's not a big deal to add some extra reverb to the sound samples files for now. =Drums's measurement & details= Wooden toms, snare and bassdrum Toms: 12X8 13X9 16X16 (hi, mid, low-foor) Bassdrum: 21X14 Snare "piccolo" 14X4 Aquarian patch set.
