Musix 1.0 R1 advices and bugs Cinelerra does not start This is a serious problem, but it can be solved by typing into a terminal (konsole, xterm, etc.): sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get remove cinelerra && sudo apt-get install cinelerra We will fix it and re-upload the Musix 1.0 R1 Stable ISO CD image as soon as possible. -- `&' # Marcos Guglielmetti # Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre _#_ http://www.musix.org.ar/en (#) / O \ + archivos: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix ( === ) Ecología: http://autosus.wordpress.com `---' Personal: http://marcospcmusica.wordpress.com

USB Recording Adapters
by Sean Edwards 31 May '07

31 May '07

I am looking for a USB Recording adapter and I was wondering if anybody is using the the M-Audio FastTrack Pro or the M-Audio Audio Audiophile USB. I need to record both sound and MIDI, but not necessarily at the same time. How about the M-Audio Transit or Jam Lab for recording audio? Is anybody using one of the Midisport or Uno models from M-Audio? If you have other recommendations for a reasonably priced interface, I would like to hear about your experience with it. Thank you for your replies. -=cybersean3000(a)yahoo.com=- ____________________________________________________________________________________ Moody friends. Drama queens. Your life? http://www.to11.org/lau_drum_soundfonts/ Drum Soundfonts by James Stone Samples created by Machinae Supremacy mdk_bass_snare.tar.bz2 - 2.3M mdk_cymbals.tar.bz2 - 20M mdk_hihat.tar.bz2 - 10M mdk_kit.tar.bz2 - 8.4M cat README_soundfont I created this soundfont from the free samples put on the Web by Machinae Supremacy. You are free to use or deconstruct this soundfont as you see fit, with no restrictions. If you find this useful, please let me know. Also I would appreciate it if this soundfont is given credit where it is used, although this is not an absolute requirement. The original notice from the Machinae Supremacy sample directory is contained in the file readme.txt. James Stone jamesmstone(a)gmail.com cat readme.txt This is the MDK (Machinae supremacy Drum Kit) sample pack, version 1.0. You may use as you see fit, royalty free. ¿these samples are really free as in freedom licenced? If so, it would be nice to make some hydrogen drumkits with layers... -- `&' # Marcos Guglielmetti # Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre _#_ http://www.musix.org.ar/en (#) / O \ + archivos: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix/ ( === ) Ecología: http://autosus.wordpress.com/ `---'

This was not free before but now it can be | distributed under GPL2 license, see | http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/license.html. The other 2 packages will be free software too, but for now they are not free. I will re incorporate kqemu from here: http://linux.ilmainen.net/suomiknoppix/linux-2.6.21/kqemu-modules-2.6.21_1.… and for the other kernels Thanks More info: | KRDesktop is a GPL-ed KDE (QT3) front-end for | QEMU.<http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/>It provides a GUI interface | for running PC emulation (similiar in intent to | Virtual PC/VMWare).
