I understand you can't copy it, don't you?
If it's true, do "ls" command at path where you uncompressed MusixUSB.
Login as root, show your disks:

fdisk -l

And always we said, you can't back - so, you must know the *exactly*
dispositive for copy.
Do

tail -f /var/log/syslog

and plug your pendrive. You will see a lot of things/process, but we
must need the name of your dispositive (like sda, sdb, sdc and so on).
Then you can copy on it.

Persistent is done, you only plug-n-copy.
You've 8GB, after to copy Musix, open gparted and change second
partition for cover all free space (because it's a 4GB image).
