[kune issues] #196: Lost editions...

#196: Lost editions... -------------------------+------------------- Reporter: samer@… | Owner: vjrj Type: defect | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: WIAB Server | Version: Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | -------------------------+------------------- After testing with two users several times, we have found that sometimes editions are lost (like they used to before). It happens rarely but it does happen. We couldn't replicate it with a unique sequence of steps... We were just creating new docs, inviting a buddy, editing it and sometimes the last edition is lost. Surprisingly, both times we found it, it was while a user was editing alone, not simultaneously with the other... but the other was seeing it jumping from user-space, from group-space, and/or had stopped editing... Messy and unclear, but just to rise the flag about it. -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/196> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>

#195: Permissions problem in group-space with shared docs -------------------------+------------------- Reporter: samer@… | Owner: vjrj Type: defect | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Group space | Version: Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | -------------------------+------------------- Sequence: * I create a new doc in my personal space * I invite Rana to my doc (through (+) button) * I edit it * Rana can see and edit it from her user-space, normally * Rana can see but NOT edit it from her group-space. No "Edit" button appears. She sees the content but cannot edit it. Probably she has view permissions but not edit permissions... -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/195> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>

[kune issues] #189: Search Bar: distinguish groups from people

#189: Search Bar: distinguish groups from people -------------------------+------------------- Reporter: samer@… | Owner: vjrj Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Group space | Version: Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | -------------------------+------------------- When I'm typing in the search bar, groups and people are shown mixed. It's difficult to find what you are looking for, especially when there are many users registered... Example: >de Devin Dennis Xiloj Demo of kune David Delgado Al-Demon Defensa de la ribera Proyecto Demo Demo Administrator Foro Democracia Prueba de Javi ... What's a group and what's a person? They should be differenced, such as: >de --Pages-- Demo of kune Defensa de la ribera Foro Democracia --People-- Devin Dennis Xiloj David Delgado Al-Demon Proyecto Demo Demo Administrator Prueba de Javi ... -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/189> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>

#193: Add a tool intro tutorial instead of the sample contents ----------------------------+------------------ Reporter: vjrj | Owner: vjrj Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Documentation | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: ----------------------------+------------------ Will be more useful to add some tutorials in each kune tool instead of the samples contents we generate. Tech info: we can add some iframe with some tutorial image explaining each tool and we'll use some multilingual SVG animated via Sozi. We have just started: see "firefox trunk/img/tutorials/docs.svg#es" for a Spanish tutorial (draft) of docs. -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/193> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>

Aunando proyectos
by sembrestels＠riseup.net 27 Feb '12

27 Feb '12

Sample of kune tool tutorial
by Vicente J. Ruiz Jurado 25 Feb '12

25 Feb '12

Hi there: A sample of tutorial that we'll integrate in each kune tool instead of the sample of contents (that you get when you register or create a group): http://kune.beta.iepala.es/docs.svg#es (*) Also will be another one in the inbox explaining wave. More info: http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/193 I think that these tutorials can help a lot in the use of kune for newcommers. With this and some more bug fixes, we can think in releasing. By the way, you can help making the screnplays about the new tutorials, improving that tutorial, with comments, etc. Bests, -- Vicente (*) sorry for now is only in Spanish, but the SVG is hacked to be multilingual, so ...

Our (specially my) English is far from good, so it's a big help... > I use a Windows 7 PC (AMD quad, 3.2GHz) with broadband speed around 5 Mbs. Our Windows documentation (INSTALL & DEV-GUIDE) is very outdated because it's a environment we don't use. So help there, very welcome also. Also testing and patching in that environment (or simply to send feedback of how kune looks like there can be useful). > Currently, my other tekky interests include 3D realtime graphics, > low-cost 3D scanning (especially "Kinfu", the open source version of > Microsoft's "Kinect Fusion") along with 3D printing. 8) Maybe you can joing 3D with GWT in the short term: code.google.com/p/quake2-gwt-port/ www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhMN0wlITLk > Other relevant interests include politics, spanish / jazz guitar and > Spanish language learning.
