I'll try some "Welcome message" at the bottom (plus sing-in link blinking) and detect sign/in or registration via a cookie. What about this message?: "You are not logged so you can only see some public contents in this site but not to collaborate. Please _register_ or _sign in_ to get full access to this site tools and contents" (A message that you will see every day in your first access to the site until registration) -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/102#comment:2> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>

#102: Highlight Sign-In and/or show "New" button disabled to anonymous user ----------------------------+------------------ Reporter: sam <samer@…> | Owner: vjrj Type: defect | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: Usability | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: ----------------------------+------------------ Comment (by vjrj): Implemented: when you click in "Participate" in Group or "Create New Group" or "Give us feedback" or the Inbox Icon you get the Sign In Panel and a message inviting you to Sign in / Register. I think is done in other parts and we can make similar "suggestion" with other actions. I don't see clear how/when to blink or to make a tooltip. Maybe with a cookie detecting "it's your first time?" but, I think this is very unusual practice, and I don't like the solution. -- Ticket URL: <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/102#comment:1> kune issues <http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/>
