Unsecured Business Loans for Every Business Owner with Any Credit Score http://www.vrepdasi.com/2004/82/161/776/1570.12tt65796585AAF23.php Unsub- http://www.vrepdasi.com/2004/82/161/776/1570.12tt65796585AAF24.html EL-ARISH, Egypt Armed Bedouin tribesmen briefly abducted a Hungarian member of the multinational observer force in Sinai, releasing him around two hours later after tribal elders intervened, a security official said Thursday. An official with the force confirmed the kidnapping of the Hungarian who was traveling Thursday in a bus from el-Arish in north Sinai to Cairo, a regular trip members of the force make to the capital. The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. The security official said the elders secured the release of the force member by mediating between the tribesman and the government. The kidnappers were demanding the release of a member of their tribe arrested earlier on drug-related charges. The official said authorities promised they would review the case of the arrested tribesman, but that they have not released him.It is rare that members of the 12-nation force stationed in the Sinai are abducted by local tribesmen, although they have attacked the force's buses and headquarters. The largest contingent in the Sinai force is American.Bedouin tribesmen often briefly hold tourists to pressure the government in negotiations over the release of imprisoned relatives. The clans in Sinai have long complained of discrimination by the state, and mass arrests in the area after bombings in 2004 and 2005 only further poisoned relations between residents and authorities. Inves arts now," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid acknowledged after Thursday's vote.He assured Democrats that a proposal to renew the assault weapons ban and a ban on high-capacity magazines would get a vote as an amendment, though it was dropped from the main bill amid intense opposition. The main bill also includes a measure to increase school safety funding.Reid lost two Democrats in Thursday's vote -- Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., and Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska, both lawmakers from states with a strong tradition of gun ownership.More than a dozen Republican senators for days had threatened to hold up the bill Thursday. They voiced concern that the proposal -- namely, the background checks provision -- would infringe on Second Amendment rights and impose a burden on law-abiding gun owners. They also expressed frustration that, while Manchin and Toomey touted their compromise measure, the bill on the table Thursday did not yet include that. Rather, it included a stricter background checks provision."Because the background-check measure is the centerpiece of this legislation it is critical that we know what is in the bill before we vote on it," Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Ted Cruz, R-Texas; and Mike Lee, R-Utah, said in a statement. "The American people expect more and deserve better."Thursday's vote follows an intense week of lobbying by gun control advocates, including the families of the victims of the December mass shooting at Sandy Hook Element

Scientists at the UW Applied Physics Laboratory say that such accumulation of melted water is normal."Every summer when the sun melts the surface, the water has to go someplace, so it accumulates in these ponds," said Jamie Morison, a polar scientist and principal investigator since 2000 with the North Pole Environmental Observatory. "This doesn't look particularly extreme."RELATED:Earth's Gold Forged in Stellar Collisions- Jamie Morison, a polar scientist with the North Pole Environmental ObservatoryThere are numerous problems with interpreting the image itself, he said, chief among them the camera that had taken the photo itself, which uses a fisheye lens that resulted in slight distortion. What looks like mountains are actually ridges where the ice was pushed together, according to the head of the laboratory, Axel Schweiger. The pool eventually drained late July 27, which is the normal life cycle for a meltwater pond. Forming from snow and ice, the pond eventually drains through cracks in the ice.As f Florida Gov. Rick Scott is asking civil rights leader Jesse Jackson to apologize for reckless and divisive comments following the jury verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial.Jackson on Tuesday called Florida the Selma of our time. The remark follows Jackson saying Florida was an Apartheid State, after a jury earlier this month found Zimmerman not guilty on all charges in the shooting death of black teenager Trayvon Martin.Jesse Jackson owes every Floridian an apology for his reckless and divisive comments, the Republican governor said in a statement. It is unfortunate that he would come to Florida to insult Floridians and divide our state at a time when we are striving for unity and healing. The Selma remark refers to 1965 marches in Selma, Ala., over black voting rights and other civil rights issues in which marchers were injured by police. The term Apartheid State refers to the racial segregation in South Africa and elsewhere that the United Nations in the 1970s declared a crime against humanity.Zimmerman, a Hispanic, fatally shot Martin, who was unarmed, when they became involved in a physical altercation while Zimmerman was on volunteer neighborhood watch duty in Sanford, Fla., in the early evening hours of Feb. 26, 2012.Jackson, who is black and was a 1984 Democratic presidential candidate, made the comments while at the state capitol in Tallahassee. He was visiting a group known as the Dream Defenders, protesting to get state

"The population is in sharp decline and there's a lot of urgency around getting her pregnant."Critics of captive breeding programs say they often do more harm than good and can create animals less likely to survive in the wild. Inbreeding increases the possibility of bad genetic combinations for offspring."We don't like to do it, and long term, we really don't like to do it," Roth said, adding that the siblings' parents were genetically diverse, which is a positive for the plan. "When your species is almost gone, you just need animals and that matters more than genes right now -- these are two of the youngest, healthiest animals in the population."The parents of the three rhinos born in Cincinnati have died, but their eldest offspring, 11-year-old Andalas, was moved to a sanctuary in Indonesia where he last year became a father after mating with a wild-born rhino there. The first coordinated effort at captive breeding began in the 1980s, and about half the initial 40 breeding rhinos died without a successful pregnancy. Roth, who began working on the rhino project in 1996, said it took years just to understand their eating habits and needs and decades more to understand their mating patterns. But he also said the GOP's long-term strategy cannot simply be running more bilingual candidates."I've been asked whether knowing Spanish and being Hispanic myself is a positive in getting Hispanic voters and I don't believe it is," he said. "I think Hispanics look for a friend, they look for someone who understands, whose willing to relate, to hear their issues and welcome them to the party and to their campaigns. That's what we're doing."Bush's campaign style, though, has been criticized by some as uncomfortable, and his stump speeches occasionally can sound canned."I'm not running for office to be somebody but really just to do something. ... This isn't about making a statement. It's about making a difference," he told about 600 homeowners and GOP activists who crowded into the clubhouse of a new Frisco subdivision.Bush has raised $3.3 million since November even though no Democratic candidate has emerged for land commissioner.A Democrat hasn't won any of Texas' 29 statewide offices since 1994, the nation's longest streak of single-party dominance. The way to avoid lame duckatude is to pass things and do things. Obama would have been better off to wait for a win of some kind before claiming he still had his clout. One of the big challenges to Obamas stature is the growing discontentment over the implementation of his 2010 health law. Democrats who got spanked in that years Midterm Elections are worried about a repeat performance in 2014 as the most unpopular provisions of the law go into place.Even Democrats who helped build the bill are pointing their fingers at the administration, saying that the chaotic implementation of the law and its ongoing unpopularity are the fault of the president and his team. And calling the implementation a train wreck is kind compared to what Democrats say about the law behind closed doors. In their bid to hold the Senate and decrease their deficit in the House, Democrats are not keen to be talking about the costs, taxes and insurance disruptions attendant to the law the president now calls Obamacare.Asked about those concerns and the continued unpopularity of the law, Obama explained that people did not understand. He argued that the 85 percent to 90 percent of Americans who have insurance have already been helped by the law in the form of greater security. For the 10 percent or 15 percent without insurance , help was on the way.But of the insured majority, relatively few have seen positive effects from the law. For 26-year-olds still on their parents insurance and those with catastrophic illnesses, yes. For the overwhelming majority, though, the only thing they have seen is higher premiums and warnings of increased costs and potentially lost coverage to come.Think of it this way: Obama says the law has already done everything it will do to benefit some 280 million Americans, but the Obamacare boosters at the Kaiser Family Foundation say that 42 percent of Americans are unaware that Obamacare is still law.If the supposedly best, most popular parts of the law have been in place for years and four in 10 adults dont even believe Obamacare still exists, does that suggest it is going to become more popular or less popular? In a FOX News poll out today, a sturdy, substantial majority still want the law repealed. And get this: 71 percent of all voters, including 56 percent of Democrats, said the regulations in the law are way over the top.If this is as good as it gets for 280 million Americans, Democrats and the law are in big, big trouble.Obama was helped to re-election by eating dessert first when it came to his health law, and now he expects his fellow Democrats to eat their peas in 2014. This marks the second time that the president has left legumes for his party, but Democrats may not be so willing to swallow as they were in 2010.If the l

Pat Nixon was the one who announced to the Washington press corps that Thomas was engaged to Douglas Cornell, chief White House correspondent for UPI's archival, The Associated Press. They were married in 1971. Cornell died 11 years later.Thomas stayed with UPI for 57 years, until 2000, when the company was purchased by News World Communications, which was founded by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, leader of the Unification Church. At age 79, Thomas was soon hired as a Washington-based columnist for newspaper publisher Hearst Corp.A self-described liberal, Thomas made no secret of her ill feelings for the second President Bush. "He is the worst president in all of American history," she told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif.Thomas also was critical of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, asserting that the deaths of innocent people should hang heavily on Bush's conscience."We are involved in a war that is becoming more dubious every day," she said in a speech to thousands of students at Brigham Young University in September 2003. "I thought it was wrong to invade a country without any provocation."Some students walked out of the lecture. She won over others with humorous stories from her "ringside seat" to history. In March 2005, she confronted Bush with the proposition that "your decision to invade Iraq has caused the deaths of thousands of Americans and Iraqis" and every justification for as was the seventh of nine children. It was in high school, after working on the student newspaper, that she decided she wanted to become a reporter. After graduating from Detroit's Wayne University (now Wayne State University), Thomas headed straight for the nation's capital. She landed a $17.50-a-week position as a copy girl, with duties that included fetching coffee and doughnuts for editors at the Washington Daily News.United Press -- later United Press International -- soon hired her to write local news stories for the radio wire. Her assignments were relegated at first to women's news, society items and celebrity profiles. Her big break came after the 1960 election that sent Kennedy to the White House, and landed Thomas her first assignment related to the presidency. She was sent to Palm Beach, Fla., to cover the vacation of the president-elect and his family.JFK's successor, Lyndon Johnson, complained that he learned of his daughter Luci's engagement from Thomas's story.Bigger and better assignments would follow for Thomas, among them President Richard M. Nixon's breakthrough trip to China in 1972.When the Watergate scandal began consuming Nixon's presidency, Martha Mitchell, the notoriously unguarded wife of the attorney general, would call Thomas late at night to unload her frustrations at what she saw as the betrayal of her husband John by the president's men.It was also during the Nixon administration that the woman who scoop
