Eeek! Looked at the prices for the conference and will have to give a miss! As permaculture seems to be such a 'grass roots' thing, I'm surprised that the cost is such as to prevent the majority of those most likely to be interested from attending; though don't suppose this will matter if you only have a small venue to fill!
