*I think there might be strong interest from the City of Melbourne in the
theory of the “partner state”*
I was at a meeting with the City Planner a few weeks ago, in which he
talked about being in NYC and seeing there the city undertaking the task of
identifying all pieces of public land that could be open to public
participation. This is can be everything from large parks and pieces of
land to small pieces of land at street corners.

the City’s partnership than through resilience, which is less central to
Michel’s work.*
