Hi Palavi and everyone

Good evening from Florianópolis!

I have just returned from the Amazon to the south of Brazil and am responding to e-correspondence.

I am willing to share our project's insights into 'alternative pedagogies', based on a 'roda viva' (living circle) format about our Rios de Encontro project (Rivers of Meeting), during which time those present ask questions based on a simple preparation, watching this 6 minute video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuC-Vxqu4ss<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuC-Vxqu4ss> .

Such sessions often begin with two people opening the the questioning process (it could be the speakers from the last session). I am also willing to begin with a 5 minute presentation of the challenges we are presently facing, as an alternative opening. I think it would be more interesting for the speakers from our first session to start the process.

Please can you confirm this format proposal and the date of the ' living circle'?

Many thanks.
All the best
Dan

Assunto: Webinar recording of LIving Utopias webinar

Dear all,

  1. Please find here<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fglobaltapestryofalternatives.org%2Fwebinars%3A2022%3Alearning%3A01&data=04%7C01%7C%7C4ba518f6ffdc4a0385c808da164cbd67%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637846816110804997%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=%2FaK6ws%2BCpzEQDmFI52aJF%2FahZaHDcT8WxwghIDgi6w8%3D&reserved=0> the recording of the April 1, 2022 webinar that was held in collaboration with PeDAGoG, EDUCERE, and GTA ( The Global Tapestry of Alternatives).
  2. The webinar was designed to share the educational initiative from India, Living Utopias, and it resulted in a very interesting discussion about the future of such initiatives, its pedagogies, and potential scope. A very special thank you to those who could make it and for holding the space for some very useful and lively discussions. To those who wanted to make it but couldn't, we missed you.
  3. We are hoping that the ball will keep rolling now and look forward to the next such learning space online. We dropped enough hints for Dan Baron (From EDUCERE) to take our offer and hope that we can next travel (online) from India to the Amazon!
  4. Here<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fspreadsheets%2Fd%2F1sY1zrrRvYYh0l-6qCmRjQJwKun4BJMOH7jRJ7XK2huI%2Fedit%23gid%3D1612978896&data=04%7C01%7C%7C4ba518f6ffdc4a0385c808da164cbd67%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637846816110804997%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=YnjPWzJXcyfcExTolpt7mjwcRCo9Mnk5fZJL6CxHznk%3D&reserved=0> is the sign up sheet for not just Dan but others too if you are interested to offer a short talk on your initiative or course.
  5. The format we tried out for the 1st such 'Alternative Education' webinar was 15 minutes of talk and 45 minutes of discussion. We can certainly try out other formats to make the online space more free flowing and all trials towards this are welcome!

Best wishes,
Group 2 Working Group members (PeDAGoG)
