visit again when I'm in town. Somehow I thought I had written a review from the first time I went here, so I was going to do a follow up, but apparently I had never written one, so this is a combination of my two visits. On the first visit, my friend and I went on a Saturday night and we were able to get two seats at the bar. She had been there before, so she told me some of the share plates that are good. So we got the pork belly, seared ahi tuna, and one more thing that I can't remember. But I know that everything that we ordered was really good. While we were eating, the bartender was walking up to a few people and offered them the shrimp and grits for free and they declined it!! Are they crazy!?? Of course, my friend and I yelled out that we'll take it and it was excellent!!! On my recent trip back, I came here with 3 of my friends on a Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation until 9 p.m., but the place was still pretty crowded. After they had seated us, it took a while for our waiter to get to us. When he finally took our drink order, it then took him a really long time to bring the drinks. We noticed he had some other big tables and probably wasn't able to handle all the tables he had. On this visit, we ordered the caesar salad (our waiter told us this comes with anchovies and we said we wanted to try them and when they brought it out, there wasn't any on there), blue crab deviled eggs, shrimp and grits and seared ahi tuna. At first you don't think this is a lot of food if you are sharing with others, but we were pretty full when we were done. All of the things that we had ordered were sooo good!! Back to our waiter.....we had ordered another bottle of wine, but by the time he had brought the bottle over, we were done with our food and it was a little past 11 p.m., so we told him we didn't want it. I would have given this place 4 stars, but because the service wasn't so great on my second visit, I took one off. They also have an extensive drink list of beers and some wine. I haven't tried any of the beers, but I am interested in trying one of the flights they have so i can try different kinds. What in the hee haww is a gastropub. I don't know who comes up with these random terms but I'll take it. I went there with some of my night associates ( hookers/ pb) and dang was I caught off guard. The atmosphere, people, and the inside was something you see in a show or so I guess. Truth be told I really don't know how to describe it. There's this huge picture or wall decor facing the ever so magnificent dining area. I don't know what it is but the colors speak volume to me when I'm a lil under the influence of Chevas Regal. I came here just to grab a sandwich, I know what your thinking, sandwich, really bro? Yes a sandwich, I ended up getting there croissant chicken salad sandwich and I felt like It was the best I've ever had, chicken salad of course. One of my urban ( wow) friends ordered shrimp and grits and my other friend ordered pot pie. Who orders pot pies at a dine in joint , but
