amazing. They cut them shoestring style, they are a thousand times better than In n Out, or any other chain fry place. I accidentally put too much jalapeno salt on them, but they were still good, I also used the smoke salt, which made for a wonderful combo. I am excited to visit the actual spot downtown... fries, burgers on the side. i ordered the bison burger and golden curly fries, the fries were incredible and perfectly cooked, and the burger...AMAZING. the burger was as good as it gets, even if it is on the side, cooked perfectly, amazing bun, perfect size for the price and quality. you could dip the fries in amazing, and adventurous sauces. i had blueberry ketchup, fry sauce, chipotle sauce, and normal ketchup. they were all absolutely amazing. also they had great seasonings too! if your ever passing through Boise, make SURE you stop here, i promise you wont be sorry! This place is quickly getting a good rep in Boise- it's not bad. The service is great and very friendly. My wife LOVES the fries. Honestly, I don't really think they are that great. I like my fries hot and crispy. maybe it's because they use all kinds of potatoes, but all of the fries I have had here have been soft and frankly, pretty greasy. I have had the buffalo burger here a few times, and really- the burger itself is great. However- it's $7 just for the burger, and this is an order at the counter place. The bun is delicious- I think it's a potato bun. However, everytime I have ordered it, there is much more bun than there is burger. When I have to pay $7 for a burger at the counter, I want the burger to be the same size as the bun. All that said- it is a fun place to check out, and I love that it is local and the service is really good. I think it's great that they were willing to compromise with the potato commission on their name, even though the commission was morally wrong. Good on you, Boise Fry Company. Boise Fry Company is fantastic - you have to eat here. BFC has a very local, earthy vibe that is the perfect setting for any excuse to enjoy their amazing food. I am fond of the bison cheeseburger, which is served on a fresh bun with tasty local lettuce, tomato, an amazing garlic aioli, and a red onion gastrique that is sweet and yummy. All of the burgers are dressed the same way, with good reason because the combination is delicious. The star at BFC is the fries which can be paired in an amazing variety of type and cut. Purple curly fries, Yukon Gold homestyle, Red Lady shoe string,... the combinations are amazing and selecting my fries is my second favorite part of a visit to BFC. Eating them is first! There is an assortment of spices (vanilla salt, garlic rosemary, jalapeno...) and another compliment of fresh homade sauces (fry sauce, blueberry ketchup, chipotle, sweet mustard...). The combinations are fun and flavorful - just remember that less is more. Reusable bowls, plates and cups cut down on the waste and recycling bins are
