We started off with the Potato Bacon soup. I didn't like it. It was pureed. I thought it was going to be a chunky potato bacon soup but it wasn't. The chili oil was overpowering. That's all you really tasted. There was no bacon flavor what so ever.

I ordered the Grilled Double Cut Pork Chop (Guanciale, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Roasted Carrots, Turnips, Swiss Chard, Marsala Cream Sauce.) and my girlfriend ordered the Grilled Rib Eye Steak (Olive Oil Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, Yellow Foot Chanterelle Mushrooms, Cipollini Onions, Veal Demi Glace.) I don't see why a lot of people rave about their pork chop. The pork chop was nothing spectacular. It was mediocre at best. It didn't have that nice pork flavor. It almost reminded me of a mystery meat and to top it off my pork chop was overcooked. The toppings and marsala cream sauce were okay. My girlfriend said the Grilled Rib Eye Steak was unforgettable. The steak was very bland and fatty. I know rib eye steaks are high in fat but this steak in particular seemed and tasted like a low quality cut. Even the veal demi glace didn't add a significant amount of flavor to the steak.fa136e57392093479095a5a40f033715
