When I saw the 'A' rating from the health department the first time I visited Prosperity Dumpling, I couldn't believe my eyes. You may think you know holes in the wall, but you haven't seen anything like this. Literally one tiny kitchen stuffed with people working away making, frying, boiling, and a teeny little counter for customers. The entire place looks like it's covered in cooking grease (which it probably is).  If you're like me, once you see an ambiance like this, you know you're in for a treat. 

Though I almost never give 5 stars to places that don't take credit cards, this is an exception because of the amazing prices and, most of all, the delicious food.My personal weakness is the fried ones because they get such a nice crispy skin going. 

Don't pass up a pancake sandwich - super heavy and greasy but SOOO good. The only thing keeping me from eating one every day with a side of dumplings is the fact that though I'm saving a lot of money on this place, it's still not enough to be able to afford a whole new set of pants as I'd clearly be way too fat to fit into any of my current ones.fa136e57392093479095a5a40f033715
