Heard about this little hidden gem and had to try it out.  When we pulled up my thoughts were that the exterior didn't look very impressive....and that... We tried this place while in town visiting my parents. It was good, nothing amazing but the best service I've had while eating out in Lufkin. Everything was... The food and service were very good. I had the fillet which was cooked perfectly. The duck fat potatoes were a little odd and more like a crispy deep fried... Quite possibly the best Huntsville has to offer. The Homestead has wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. Service and quality are always top-notch. Definitely surprised by this restaurant. From the exterior you would surely miss it, but this is definitely a restaurant to visit. I was skeptical to go at... Lets begin with AMAZINGLY AWSOME! Had to come back to Nacogdoches for work. I felt compelled to try Clear Springs again. Surly they can't
