Every morning the folks at Los Agaves have probably looked into their magic mirror and asked "who's the fairest of them all?" And every morning the mirror would faithfully reply that their Mexican food was the greatest in all of that land.  That is until recently when the mirror has probably informed them that there is now one fairer still and it is a little hole-in-the-wall called Monys Mexican food.

Santa Barbara has seen so many different top dogs in the Mexican food arena!   Of course Julia Child started things off by raving about La Superica many, many years ago.    Then we had Lily's hit the scene, tacos and only tacos in flavors that made us gringo's wince!  But oh so good.
