It's quite powerful, so you only need to hold done 132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0a pulse button for about 20-30 seconds (maybe less). Overall it's quite convenient & easy to clean. I'm thinking of buying ano132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0ar one to keep at home as well (because I don't always feel like using my full-size blender). This little guy is good for small chunks. This doesn't have too much power since its very small so it doesn't get everything super smooth. I think it would be best for making frozen cocktails. Since I have a big 'ole Cuisinart blender at home I decided to leave this one at my fa132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0ar-in-law's. Once I got home, I missed it so much that I bought a 2nd from Amazon for only $11.49 or 11.99. It blends better, quicker and more quietly than 132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0a Cuisinart and is easier to clear. Plus I love that I can mix and drink it from 132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0a same glass. I don't often write reviews b/c it would take time away from o132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0ar things....but I just love this lil' guy so much I had to sing its praises! – esp. for 132594a115a67627a5c37bf896746f0a price, what value! I swear, no one is paying me to say this (I wish!). FYI, what it's handled so beautifully is: 8 oz. milk (cow's, almond etc.), 1-1.5 c. frozen berries, 1 scoop protein powder, some ground flax seed, chia seeds, sometimes 1/2-1 c. kale as well.
