[Bdi4emc-help] AXIS 1.2rc1 released

starting with the AXIS link, i ended up at emc2 for ubunto instructions 
at http://timeguy.com/cradek/emc/ubuntu.

Basically, it says load ubunto then emc2.

If I follow these instructinos, do i end up with a real time kernel?
