Saludos

I'm really agnostic to the platform, whatever works better for the translators.
if you can update this http://en.wiki.floksociety.org/w/Research_Plan#Status_Update with whatever decision, it would be great.
I repeat some of my concerns (I could not get into the pad) to avoid duplicate work:
* the translation concerns only sections 2 and 3 (i.e. the full participatory version but only part of the wiki version)
* Andres has already translated substantial parts (see status link)

Do you prefer if we do the translation right into the Wiki? We also have the option of using Pads. I tried dividing the document into six parts to help the managing of the content and the process of reviewing:
http://floksociety.titanpad.com/1 http://floksociety.titanpad.com/2 http://floksociety.titanpad.com/3 http://floksociety.titanpad.com/4 http://floksociety.titanpad.com/5 http://floksociety.titanpad.com/6
This platform gets buggy sometimes but it may work. I'm already adding the translated bits so that we don't duplicated efforts.
After this, we need to call for help from our volunteers to finish it. Given the fact that practically a 30-40% of it seems translated, the whole document can be finished in a couple of days with enough help and then it can be reviewed in order to get a high-quality translation.

Alright, so maybe tonight we can separate the document in pieces and post them online. We can gather people to participate during the following week and work on it to have it finished in two weeks, hopefully.
I think we'll need to start another line of emails with this info in Spanish to draw attention to those colleagues who may have overlooked this email for it being in English. Even if people on this list don't have experience as translators they can certainly help (translation on a collaborative environment requires more hands and less expertise) or they can help us spread the word to find people interested in helping.

Or we just paste it on a PAD and organize a translationsprint. I've done it before and it can be finished in matter of hours. I think Bernardo could be the kind of person to organize this feat in matter of a short amount of time and that way everyone can work on the same documents at the same time and at their own pace.
Michel, I'd love to help as a reviewer/editor for the text to finish it with good quality. Let me know what you think of the idea!

dear friends,
I woulld like to gather support for the publication of the first integrated transition program to a commons-based society
This transition plan was commissioned by Ecuador and will be accompanied by more than a dozen policy frameworks to enable the creation of open commons in every domain of social activity.
The main document is here, http://en.wiki.floksociety.org/w/Research_Plan (the first paragraph explains the institutional background of the project)
and this is a version that is open to commentary and participation: https://floksociety.co-ment.com/text/xMHsm6YpVgI/view/
General info on the project is at floksociety.org <http://floksociety.org/> ; the policy proposals are here at (https://floksociety.co-ment.com/text
I would really appreciate if you could spread this in your networks, as this is the first example of its kind,
The fight is far from over, and there is a distinct danger that the project would take a pragmatic turn around some token initiatives, while ignoring the cultural change that needs to take place around generative commons. A spanish translation to the framework document has not yet been guaranteed.
By spreading awareness of the commons transition framework you would contribute to the awareness of the context of the proposed changes.
Michel Bauwens, (FLOK research director)
