I just started to create backing tracks. For the last 18 months, I have been singing and playing guitar by myself at my church on Sunday's. In order to add variety (and wake people up), I want to create backing tracks with drums, bass, and other instruments. Copyright laws prohibit me from sharing any of my work so far. I perform these pieces under my church's CCLI license. --- Marcos Guglielmetti <[email protected]> wrote:

Hello List! I am not new to music, MIDI. or Linux. However, I am new to using them all together. I first started learning Linux audio and MIDI in August of 2005.
Welcome!
I tried Agnula and DeMudi, but they would not even boot on my IBM NetVista PC. I found the correct combination of boot options that allowed Musix to boot from CD. Since Musix is the one that booted and ran, I decided that was the one to use.
To be fair: I think that those distros must run into your PC... but I could not know how to do it.
I apologize that I don't know any Spanish, and my French needs a lot of practice.
Dont worry, almos all people here knows english, also we have an english mailing list:
