[Solar-general] encriptar no sirve de nada

Ya vi varios artículos que hablan de esto, y todos tienen mas o menos 
los mismos títulos, títulos que dan a entender que la NSA puede romper 
la encriptación. Pero después, al leer los artículos dicen que tanto la 
NSA como la GCHQ han invertido mucho y siguen laburando en eso, sin 
embargo ninguno dice que hayan logrado hacerlo. Lo que sí confirman es 
que han metido gente en distintas empresas y backdoors en cierto soft.

A lo que voy, es que no está confirmado que hayan roto sistemas de 
encriptación, y si lo han hecho tampoco se sabe cuales. Si pongo un poco 
en conspiranóico me suena mas a operación para hacer creer que encriptar 
es una pérdida de tiempo, que otra cosa.

Incluso en ese mismo artículo, citan una frase de Snowden:
“Properly implemented strong crypto systems are one of the few things 
that you can rely on,” he said, though cautioning that the N.S.A. often 
bypasses the encryption altogether by targeting the computers at one end 
or the other and grabbing text before it is encrypted or after it is 
decrypted.

Es decir, algo que ya hemos hablado (no se si acá o en movimiento), que 
gastarse en criticar o buscar alternativas a los sistemas de 
encriptación es un poco tonto, ya que son el eslabon mas fuerte de la 
cadena de seguridad. En todo caso habría que tener mas cuidado antes y 
después de eso.
