[Solar-general] pregunta de compatiblidad con GPL

Si, yo creo que agregar una exigencia de este tipo hace la licencia
incompatible con la GPL (aunque seguiría siendo una licencia libre).

La razón es que la GPL (cláusula 6) dice que

"Each time you redistribute the Program (or any work based on the Program), the recipient
automatically receives a license from the original licensor to copy, distribute or modify
the Program subject to these terms and conditions. You may not impose any further
restrictions on the recipients' exercise of the rights granted herein."
.."  

entonces no sería posible combinar codigo licenciado bajo la GPL
por un tercero con tu código.

Hubo un caso reciente donde se planteó algo parecido con la
licencia de Xfree [1]. La versión 1.1 es considerada por muchos
incompatible con la GPL. La cláusula problemática es

"The end-user documentation included with the redistribution, if any, must include the
following acknowledgment: "This product includes software developed by The XFree86
Project, Inc (http://www.xfree86.org/) and its contributors", in the same place and form
as other third-party acknowledgments. Alternately, this acknowledgment may appear in the
software itself, in the same form and location as other such 
third-party acknowledgments."

Es muy parecida a la cláusula que vos proponés.

(la gente de Xfree dice que aún es GPL-compatible, pero la FSF dice
que es incompatible [2])

Como sabrán, este asunto derivó en la creación de un fork de Xfree,
bajo su licencia original que si era GPL-compatible
