Apologies. I was too busy setting up at this this morning to send out a
notice. There's been a full day of presentations. Right now there's a high
level chat “What Happened to the Future?” with Douglas Rushkoff moderating.
Tomorrow there will be 3 breakout tracks. We're streaming it all

New post on *ISOC-NY NOTICE BOARD*

<https://platform.coop/2017>On *Friday-Saturday November 9-10 2017* the 3rd
annual *Platform Cooperativism Conference <http://platformcoop.net/2017>* takes
place in New York City.

The *first platform cooperativism event in 2015
<http://isoc-ny.org/p2/8188>* popularized the idea, and *the second event
in 2016 <http://isoc-ny.org/p2/8788>* brought together co-op and union
leaders to push the model forward. This third event will zero in on ways
that platform cooperatives can help to address some of the world’s most
urgent challenges. The fairer digital economy we need is already emerging
everywhere. The theme is “*The People’s Disruption: Platform Co-ops for
Global Challenges*”. The event will be livestreamed on the *Internet
Society Livestream Channels <http://bit.ly/platformcoop2017>*.
