why not couch your argument in the following way:
"Amongst the diverse forces arguing or mobilizing for the basic income, we
should be aware that there are neoliberal forces, with an entirely specific
agenda that is dangerous for xxx", and then make your arguments
that way we don't have to conclude that you meant the whole thing is a
neoliberal plot : I can assure you that I'm not the only one who believes
that what was written was what you meant; on many fb groups the article is
simply dismissed because of it, and it does a disservice to the interesting
critical elements in it ; they won't read it because the title implies
something that is obviously empirically false
the two major problems with your article for me are this apparent reduction
of the diverse UBI movement to one single plot, and your presumption to
predict the outcome of the class or social struggle in a defeat
people would benefit from knowing that this is not what you meant; the
second is just a predictive opinion, that people can disagree with, it
doesn't affect the credibility of the whole article
the rest of the article is stimulating,
