Panel Discussion at the United Nations - Geneva*
 The Pillars of Peace report was released today with a panel discussion at
the United Nations in Geneva. The discussion used the report as a basis to
explore a new approach for increasing resilience and well-being, and the
necessity for positive peace to be included on the post-2015 development
agenda.

magazine to explore the question: *can measuring peace help us understand

* As the deadline for the Millennium Development Goals fast approaches,
discussions are taking place as to what a new development agenda should
look like. The Institute for Economics and Peace is part of an expert
advisory group consulting on the theme of Violence, Conflict and Disaster.
In mid-June, IEP met with UNDP, UNPBSO, UNICEF and the World Bank to
determine an accountability framework  for conflict, violence, governance
