Dear Noetic Now Subscribers,  
The year 2012 has been rocking a lot of boats, and IONS is not immune to the forces of foundational change. On the eve of celebrating its fortieth anniversary, the Institute has embarked on the next stage of its evolution with the hiring of a new CEO, Steve Villano, and a promotion for the previous CEO, Marilyn Schlitz, to Global Ambassador (read the press release). Another key staff member is moving on (see the announcement below). A few other changes are in store as well, starting with Noetic Now journal...

Noetic Now Online Journal 

For a variety of reasons, this will be the final issue of the Noetic Now journal in its current form (the monthly email will continue). I'm proud of the range of topics covered in the nearly two dozen issues that have been published and hope that this June edition maintains that standard with one more quartet of thought-provoking ideas. All previous articles can be accessed in the Noetic Now archives, and all can be printed as PDFs. I offer my deep appreciation to all the contributors, authors, and publishers who gave the journal its richness and diversity.

Telecourse Update 

We're currently in the middle of our eight-week Living Deeply live telecourse which has received rave reviews. After this course ends, and in response to many requests, we will take the rest of the summer off to package the courses we've already completed this year and make them available for self-study. Stay tuned for our next live telecourse, Worldview Literacy, beginning September 12th.

IONS Editorial Director Stepping Down 

Matthew Gilbert (that would be me), who joined IONS in 2004 to run Shift magazine and has since taken on a variety of projects and roles at the Institute, had his last day at IONS on May 31 (you could say this email was sent posthumously). As noted above, June will be the last issue of the Noetic Now journal in its current form, but the monthly emails will continue, and IONS' members will still receive a semi-annual newsletter. My plans for now are uncertain but I'm keeping my options open. It has been a pleasure to serve you, and I hope that in some small way my efforts have broadened your perspective, stretched your imagination, and cracked open the door of your potential. May you live deeply and journey well. My farewell blog posting is here.
