I was sent a review copy of Consumptionomics. I have had no time to write a review but I have read it, and it is an excellent book. Essentially, it lucidly deals with the need for policy-makers to introduce legislation to curb wasteful overconsumption in India, and other emerging economies as they grow richer. It is written by Chandran Nair, a noted businessman.

The following review comes from the Financial Times. However, many references, and details  on Consumptionomics can now be found on the internet. Maybe Michel might like to put an entry on it on the p2pfoundation to help promote it.
