Dear MetaCurrency Collabathoners,

First, a BIG thank you to everyone who participated in the MetaCurrency
Collabathon. The event exceeded all of our expectations and we have your
participation, enthusiasm and genius to thank for that!!

Progress is being made since the Collbathon, so we wanted to take this time
to *1)* Re-connect all of you through this initial email  *2)* Give you an
update on some current "next steps" and, most importantly,  *3)* Invite
your deeper participation and feedback.

*Tech Team Updates:*
For those who are interested in continued development of the MetaCurrency
Tech tools, please contact Eric directly directly for coming up to speed
and dev sessions, etc. He has  had a few sessions with with folks from the
Collabathon already . Send him a shout-out and dive into the code! "Eric
Harris-Braun" <eric at harris-braun.com>,

   - *Participation:*
      - The code is on github at https://github.com/zippy/anansi and all
      issue tracking is happening on the tracker there:
      https://github.com/zippy/anansi/issues
      -  For coders Eric also monitors the #metacurrency channel on IRC @
      freenode.  There hasn't been any activity there in a long while but that
      will soon change and Eric would love for that to be an active channel.

   - *Next Steps:*
      -   Jumping into streamscapes coding
      -  Writing documentation on what's already there.

*Team Updates for **MetaCurrency Awareness, Edu, and Communication:*
This is refining the messaging, philosophy, and understanding of the
MetaCurrency project by working on communications and further developing a
platform for participation and educational opportunities that come from the
project.

Angela Reininger has already begun to distill the information from the
MetaCurrency site, the New Currency Frontier Blogs and Collabathon sessions
to formulate a set of principles that will help to communicate the guiding
framework of MetaCurrency. Alex Au and Lauren have been meeting to further
refine a strategy or "Interaction Funnel" for how people travel from
awareness of the project, into participation in the project through the
embodiment of the MetaCurrency framework and tools into their daily  lives.

   - *Participation:*
      -  Lauren will be setting up 3 work sessions on these topics. If you
      would like to participate contact Lauren (lauren at laurenhiggins.com)
      - If you are interested in developing any part of the conciousness
      tools, these early communication processes or something that has
*not* been
      named here, please add this to the pool! This could be anything from
      writing about MetaCurrency, working on the Kickstarter, helping
update the
      website, or helping us finds ways to make the project more sharable with
      the world. Everything counts!
      - So far, we have started a MetaCurrency google doc folder where we
      can share notes and collaborate on documents together. Contact Lauren if
      you would like to be added. Soon we should have some kind of
google group,
      facebook group, etc  where we can "be" working and sharing together.
      - Please feel free to organize your own session as well. All of this
      can develop in tandem!

   - *Next Steps *
      - Setting up work sessions to continue developing the following:

   - Distill MetaCurrency principles, continue to refine clear definitions
         of the problems from a technical perspective and gather
writing about the
         technology breakthroughs that have occurred
         - Develop the "Interaction Funnel" of how people approach, embody
         and participate in MetaCurrency.
         - Begin to re-design/ update the web-site content and
         communication that follows these changes.
         - The MetaCurrency Kickstarter

*A Collaboration Space for MetaCurrency: *
In the coming week we hope to establish a few spaces where we as a group
can continue to "be" with each other online, share information, and keep
up-to-date with the momentum of development for the project. The following
have been proposed:

   - Skype Chanel (s)
   - Pivitol Tracker
   - Google group
   - Facebook Group
   - Brainpark

We may want 1 space for the entire group and then allow the tech and other
individual project teams to create the channels that work best for them. We
will work with Arthur in the coming we to chose something basic to start
with to keep us connected. If you have any ideas or preferences please
share them.
 *Future: What does MetaCurrency inspire in you? *
 If you see next steps that were not outlined here please add them to the
thread and take ownership of their future.

We would love to hear any feedback you have about the Collabathon or your
ongoing participation.
