demonstration site of Sahana Eden capabilities available at:

By brief background; Sahana is FOSS and evolved from efforts of a core group
of Sri Lankan developers and global disaster experts during the SE Asian
Tsunami. Sahana has since grown into a true global FOSS project widely
utilised for localised information management and recoveries during the
Haiti Quake, Peru, Yogjakarta, Leyte, Pakistan, Servodaya and others, and is
now adopted by the City of New York Office of Emergency Management as result
of post 911 requirement determinations.

I have started a mailing list on Monday now some 20+ members
subscribed. Only one is from Sendai city government, from inside.
Others include central gov guys, some local gov outside, cloud
and software developpers, etc.  But this list is only in Japanese.

Many others are trying to implement services - almost on the fly
without much coordination, and this is quite anticipated so that
I proposed to have coordination team.

I have already introduced ushahidi and ChristChruch forum to
this list and waiting for the reaction. I also am trying to reach
others working in the field.

So, yes, will try, is my short answer/
