 Cómo arrancar el órgano hammond "azr3"

Antes que nada, hay que saber que Azr3 no arrancará si no existen dos 
programas previamente corriendo en nuestro sistema:

    * lashd
    * jackd 

Ya haremos un sencillo script en Musix que haga esta tarea más simple 
para el usuario, por ahora, recomendamos abrir una terminal y 
escribir:

lashd & azr3

Luego abrir qjackctl (jack Control) si es que necesitamos realizar 
conexiones MIDI y AUDIO para controlar el emulador hammond azr3 
mediante un teclado físico. En caso de no poseer un teclado físico, 
podremos utilizar uno virtual como jack-keyboard o vkeybd

Cómo utilizarlo con un teclado controlador físico

    * Estamos hablando de un órgano eléctrico, un piano eléctrico o un 
sintetizador, es decir, un teclado controlador MIDI físico conectado 
a la PC mediante USB o cable MIDI tradicional conectado a puerto de 
joystick o a entradas MIDI en la tarjeta de sonido. 

¿Por qué azr3 sólo funciona en el nuevo qjackctl mediante la solapa 
ALSA (en la que aparece mi controlador MIDI Físico) y sí aparece en 
la solapa MIDI (en la que sólo puedo poner el teclado virtual 
jack-keyboard)?

Carlos Pino respondió:

Porque sólo soporta midi a través de jack y no de alsa , igual que 
jack-keyboard .

Puedes usar tu controlador físico si en Qjackctl/Setup/Settings (nota: 
quizá tengas que detener JACK para realizar esta configuración) , 
abajo en Midi Driver pulsas el desplegable y pruebas con algunas de 
las opciones diferentes de "none" que te aparezca . Con alguna de 
ellas te debería aparecer algo en esa pestaña "Midi" . A mi me va 
con "raw" .

Description: This JACK program is a port of the free VST plugin 
AZR-3. It is a tonewheel organ with drawbars, distortion and rotating 
speakers. The original was written by Rumpelrausch TÃ¤ips.

The organ has three sections, two polyphonic with 9 drawbars each and 
one monophonic bass section with 5 drawbars. The two polyphonic 
sections respond to events on MIDI channel 1 and 2, and an optional 
keyboard split function makes the bass section listen to the lower 
keys on channel 1.

The three sections have separate sustain and percussion switches as 
well as separate volume controls, and the two polyphonic sections 
have separate vibrato settings. All three sections are mixed and sent 
through the distortion effect and the rotating speakers simulator, 
where the modulation wheel can be used to switch between fast and 
slow rotation, and the fast and slow rotation speeds themselves can 
be changed separately for the lower and upper frequencies.
