¿  Has leido todo lo que dice el mensaje que has puesta arriba?    A eso 
me refería cuando te hablaba de que tuvieras cuidado con las 
dependencias , te puedes cargar por completo tu instalación , ojo si 
tienes algo que guardar ahí.
 Creo que no llegó a culminarse el proceso de instalación de paquetes 
por un error en el servidor remoto, mira esto:

 ¿Hiciste lo que te dice ahí?

   Por otro lado , si el proceso concluyó bien , me parece que tienes 
que decirle al instalador de nvidia donde está el binario de gcc-4.2 , 
esto no sé como se hace . O tal vez podrías probar a hacer

export CC=/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 

antes de lanzar el instalador.
