Yes, for now! We will try to make it GPL in some way (talking to the owners or

No, at least for a begginer: you have to remaster all the CD, and, for that, 
you need a working GNU+Linux distro and many things in your head :D

It's not necesary to do that, you can compile things from the CD, but we dont 
encourage the people to use non-free software, in this case we need help to 
talk with Midiman, dont you think?

You a re a midiman products user, ¿could you talk with them?

Mmm... 23ms, or 11ms, or 5ms, it depends on your hardware config, you could go 
for 1.6ms too
