You're right, just seemed a bit awkward to not respond at all, and I suppose deep down I like the idea of restricting commercial usage (though see that it is less relevant in the context of scientific research). So, I will amend asap, which may not be right away, but before the deadline.

We had already resolved it, reaching what it seemed to be rough
consensus on vetoing restrictive licenses like NC/ND. Going for a
"whoever post their opinion last on this list wins" approach doesn't
seem wise, especially considering the deadline.
