[JoPP-Public] Empty "About" page

HI Christian, all

I went with option one and created a "mission statement" subpage, then starting putting links on the about page. However I ran into the WordPress Wall Of Inscrutability and Frustration and despite my best efforts the "mission statement" subpage won't appear in the menu.

@Franco: could you please have a look and help with this? many thanks.
