[PeDAGoG] letter from working group 1 to the whole pedagog group

Dear PeDAGoG colleagues

We had a meeting of Working Group 1 : "Pedagogic and knowledge sharing to
build and strengthen repositories of materials"  on 26th Jan 2022. Sharing
our thoughts 

              1.      The materials will be hosted in the RED ( Radical
Ecological Democracy : searching for alternatives to unsustainable and
inequitable model of 'development' ) platform and Pallav Das will help us to
do that . Kindly check out https://radicalecologicaldemocracy.org/ . Later
if we find the resources ( people and finance) , we might set up an
independent website. 

2.      The  page will have (a)  something about PeDAGoG (b) the Materials
(c) announcements (d) feedback-comments section. 

3.      We will start with all the materials which have already been shared
by members 

4.      The Working Group 1 will welcome volunteers for (a) helping to sort
and classify all the materials which we already have (b) help with web
design (c) some of  the materials might require a small blurb to be friendly
to users 

5.      Here is  list of the kind of materials which you have already shared

1.	Papers , essays, articles on Climate Crisis , all other related
civilizational crisis , and alternatives 
2.	Books 
3.	Articles on courses and experiences of teaching
4.	Degree / Teaching Programs : masters, summer school
5.	Course Curriculum 
6.	Class modules / Lessons ( example : Thought Box for 5-18 year olds )

7.	Power Points of lectures 
8.	Videos of special lectures / talks 
9.	Conference video recordings 
10.	Podcasts depository for teaching Political Ecology: There was a nice
table of 200 podcasts with subject, link, and a paragraph describing each . 
11.	Films and Animations ( example : Agroecology website ; but wish
there was a paragraph of each film like above ; Vikalp Sangam website ) 
12.	Case studies / Stories ( example : Vikalp Sangam in India has almost
1000 story/cases organized under 11 heads ) 
13.	Art 

5.	We welcome any suggestions from you on themes , types of materials ,
how to organize them , or anything else which will make this repository
useful to you and anyone else pursuing alternatives.
