YAD Pakistan Amplify Change Funded Project  Safe abortion and post-abortion care in Pakistan 

YAD Pakistan initiated and introduced the power of edutainment, creativity, innovation, arts, artistic activism, creative expressions, music, cultural performances, cultural segments, lyrics, singing, songs, musicians, and celebrities engagement for change and to raise awareness, education, knowledge, mobilization, sensitization, and realizations safe abortion and post-abortion care. Bringing red flag abortion under openly discussions for the understanding of the concerned peoples, key target groups, target beneficiaries, and stakeholders to reduce the stigma and barriers against the safe abortion and post-abortion care in the target area as well with strategy and approach of making like-minded people to play their vital role for this alarming harmful issues through networking, alliance building, diversity, inclusions, campaigning and behaviors change.  
Objective of activity Through Cultural and Musical Night and to cover the massive audience to facilitate & support the development and strengthening of capacities of stakeholders to improve, skills, knowledge, tools & resources for the effective implementation of the advocacy, lobbying & follow up plan for legislation & ending barriers, effective advocacy work, lobbying tactics and follow up for approving drafted Baluchistan safe abortion and post-abortion care bill from Baluchistan assembly.

120 in 2020 Film Festival is first time initiative and has the opportunities to conduct screenings in YAD’s Pakistan All Arts Competition Exhibition and family festival tentatively expected on 29th November 2020 at Noori Nasier Khan Cultural Complex Directorate of Culture Spiny Road Quetta physically as well as with online visibility on YAD social media channels, YAD donor’s social media channels other international channels and internationally amongst several other locations as possible.


YAD Pakistan’s 120 in 2020 Film Festival works with the drive to empower the youth by developing a positive learning experience, improve the understanding of issues related to SRHR, HIV/AIDS, Maternal Health, Abortion, and Early, Child and Forced Marriages by providing a platform that promulgates views of the masses.
