Very good.... I think we arrived right after a rush becasue when we walked in it looked like a bomb went off. ....The tables are almost all big, so you know they entertain... Calamari was freshly prepared and not overly breaded, cooked perfectly to be tender and not chewy. Pizza was excellent! The crust was tender but had a... Great historic building! Drove through town and spotted it. Glad we stopped.....The quiche Lorainne was delicious...flaky crust, great flavor, \u0026 nice portion.... Stayed in Port Austin for a couple of days about 1 1/2 years ago to enjoy a get away in my own state and didn't have high expectations of the food at all.... Been waiting for my breakfast order for 27 minutes will let you know if it arrives and the quality if I don't pass out first. ....Was worth the wait.
Irish... We visited the FireSide twice during our vacation in the area. On our first visit we had two large pizzas. We found that they were very large, the toppings... Nothing short of good home cooking. Service is always polite and accommodating. Whenever I come up to Port Austin to visit the Farmers Market, this place is... What a place for breakfast. I ordered the lighthouse special and these people must have given me a golden egg for breakfast and Gordon Ramsey himself must... Perhaps the best restaurant in our area. A friend and I eat here almost once a week because it's reliable comfort food at a pretty decent price. We also exclusively eat the chicken n dumplings. .... Great place to meet for coffee, tea, and lunch. Staff is friendly, food and drinks are good, and you can shop before or after you eat also. Most people... Got the roast chicken dinner. 6.95 for half a chicken, potato, dressing, soup, veggie.....Now you're not going to mistake this for high French cuisine but... The Lion's Den has added a MONSTER pizza pocket called the Goliath. If you eat it in the time limit your meal is free, you get a T-shirt celebrating your... I hadn't been to outback for a very long time, we decided to go and now I am sad I hadn't been in do long. The service was great
