Hello all, I dont know exactly what is making me send this now as I have been thinking this for as long as I have been on these lists, but I wanted to take the opportunity to sincerely thank all of you just for being.
If any of you have read any of my posts, then you know that it has been a (small) challenge to make the switch from Windows/Cubase to Linux/Ardour, but I have never looked back simply because of you people and these lists.
I knew every step of the way that there was a potential for struggle, but the main difference between the Linux audio side and the Windows audio side is that I also knew every step that there was help available. Even if the answer was not right there, and even if I ultimately had to find it through my own trial and error because no-one knew for sure how to fix a certain thing...you have all always been there to at least offer support, (Specifically Peter and Mark K. - sorry I dont remember your full names at the moment, but you know who you are).
Thanks you all for existing, I only hope that some day down the line I can offer the same thing to another new "me" who is in need of help.
Thanks again, SMH
