Mostly because of what Yuval Harari calls the most successful mythical story humanity has ever believed. I reviewed his “21 Lessons For The 21St Century< http://www.ethicalmarkets.com/lets-train-humans-first-before-we-train-machines/> (2018) and can add …… imbibed from the global corporate and financial oligopoly and its academic apologists: The myth of MONEY, a massive taxonomical error! MONEY IS NOT SCARCE and is not wealth, but merely a useful tracking and scoring measuring rod, that we mistook for the real thing: the massively abundant planet and its biosphere of millions of interdependent species powered daily by the free photons from our mother star the SUN which will not burn out for millennia! The global financial casino is a giant kleptocracy kept in place by this MONEY meme! Well described by a seasoned actuary and economist, Prof. Nick Silver, co-founder of “green bonds” now teaching at LSE and whose book "Finance, Society and Sustainability”< https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/244947-hazel-henderson/5235940-finance-society-sustainability> Palgrave Macmillan, (2018) I reviewed. I have documented for decades how commonsense reforms by sensible public servants and politicians have been instantly shot down by some defunct economist mantra: “Where’s the money coming from?”. They have blocked social innovation for too long! PLEASE read this book and my “Mapping the Global Transition to the Solar Age: From Economism to Earth Systems Science< http://4a5qvh23tbek30e0mg42uq87.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/mapping-global-transition-to-Solar-Age-we-download.docx.pdf>” London(2014) It’s only 56 pages and provides all the evidence from scientific research in the past 50 years that every one of the main tenets of economics and in its obsolete textbooks still taught at business schools, is now INVALIDATED. We must keep hope alive that it is not too late if human wakes up!
