tarpipe seems to hook into specific services. Cost money to get services that are of any use from what i can see Yahoo pipes: has a set of modules that both hook into certain services, plus allow fetching rss, csv, etc, and combining them in different ways. It is free so far as I know On Sun, Jan 16, 2011 at 11:59 PM, Michel Bauwens <[email protected]> wrote:
thanks for the further details,
Sam, would you know how tarpipe differs from yahoo pipes?

A cursory overview of both:
1. Tarpipe costs money for any kind of serious use. Although, the price is reasonable per resources that will likely be used. I didn't sign up for free account version, because it didn't seem worth it to me. So, I have no real evaluation of it.
2. ifttt.org is not yet launched and requires an invitation. (I requested one)

please also check tarpipe and ifft, and tell me what you think,
robin, what did you find best?

Dear Robin,
I recommended Hajnalka to pose her question to Quora, but I can't find the invite button,
and this is for personal reply: have you tried tarpipe? seems ideal for the kind of work we are doing at the p2p foundation, have you tried it?

Absolutely Fantastic Michel !
Thank you sharing your overview - for your guidance. I hope I can join Hajnalka in a mutually emulating process. I will recommend her to use a wiki - or the p2pf wiki. best dante
